Super Bowl XLV: Pittsburgh vs. Green Bay
The Regime replied to Real Deal's topic in NFL Gameday Archives
Packers better make this a lengthy drive and put some points on the board, I have a really good feeling that Big Ben is going to take them on a scoring drive next possession. -

Mike Wallace is a [expletive]ing beast. Good call on the option. -

Damn, Green Bay is making it look easy. -
Orlando is the fourth best team in the East behind Boston, Miami, and Chicago. They wont be a championship team until they add some frontcourt size and add a scorer.

Arenas is just chucking away to get on the board. Oh boy....
-
Rondo is ripping apart Arenas, SVG is an idiot.
-
I don't understand why Hedo continues to chuck contested fadeaways when Dwight has been so dominant in the post. The Magic need to force feed him.
-
Arenas is a liability for the Magic at this point, he's hobbling and clearly cant stay up with any of Boston's guards and on top of that his shot isn't falling. The Magic are probably better off playing Duhon.

Orlando is just letting their emotions get the best of them.
-
This game has just been plagued with injuries, first Glen Davis and Jameer, then Dwight, and now Daniels gets the worst of it. The shot selection for Orlando has just sucked, Dwight is the only guy who has had success scoring. And that was an idiotic tech that Dwight picked up, he needs to watch those elbows.

^The Warriors did an excellent job trapping, I think atleast 3-4 turnovers came when he was forced into a double team. What surprises me is that the Warriors are actually playing defense now, their rotations were crisp in the second half and they did an excellent job limiting Chicago to just one shot. That's three straight games that they've held a team under 100 points, that's un-Warrior like.

Warriors are making Chicago's full court trap look like [expletive]. The Bulls are getting beat at their own game.
-
Vlade is playing some good ball, he's driving to the rack alot more than he did in LA.
-
Warriors have done one hell of a job against Rose, that's 8 turnovers now. I don't think I've seen them play with so much intensity on defensive end this season lol.

http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/preview?gid=2011020505 I loled when I saw this on ESPN. Talk about a demoralized team.

There's to big of a hole at sg for the Bulls to be considered as serious contenders. They'll certainly make the playoffs exciting though, and I'm sure ever team is praying not to run into them.

Lebron has always been most effective when he has the ball in his hands, and he basically ran point during his tenure with the Cavs-hence the high assist numbers. The Cavs never really had a traditional pg because that would really limit Lebron's ability to score and playmake. Westbrook is the primary ball handler for the Thunder so you cant expect a whole lot of assists for KD. Their roles are completely different. I highly doubt Kevin Durant will need to average 35 ppg for the Thunder because the talent is improving around him as you stated. With that said, he certainly will have the capabilities to do that in a couple years. As for rebounding, I do agree that that is one part of his game that he needs to work on. He has a crazy wingspan but he's too skinny to even occupy space on the block. The weight room will fix that.
-
Kevin Durant is only 22, and he's more than likely going to win the scoring title for the second consecutive season. He still doesn't have a post game and is pretty much restricted to scoring off jumpshots. He's very much limited against bigger forwards because he still needs to bulk up, and even with all that he putting up nearly 30 points on a nightly basis. Lebron was no where near as talented of a scorer at Durant's age. You give KD a couple more seasons and he'll easily drop 35 ppg.

Pau and Kobe go for 66 out of the 101. Pau's jumper was just unstoppable tonight.
-
How many 6-9 pure scorers, with a ceiling as high as him, can you name?
-
As much as I love Derrick Rose, you can't pass up Kevin Durant he's a once in a lifetime talent. A guy at his size and speed, who can score with so much ease is hard to pass up.
