  1. Walker touched the ball way to late on their final possession. He caught it with no more than three seconds to spare, and basically had to heave up a desperation shot from mid court. With the amount of time that was remaining he should have come to the ball instead of waiting for the ball to come to him. If I were him I would have probably demanded the ball after the Louisville miss.

  5. The more shots you shoot in the clutch the more you are going to miss, that's the reality of the game. You can't expect players to shoot at the same percentage.
  6. Okay, so you're telling me that you would rather take Raymond Felton, Ben Gordon, and Mike Bibby in the clutch. Go for it, I'll stick with Kobe. Abbott fails to realize that the larger the sample size, the lower your percentage is going to be. If your going to compare guys to Kobe then pick guys who have taken a higher number of shots. I guarantee if Melo would have taken 115 shots his overall success percentage would be a lot lower.
  7. Not the Kobe that we needed to close this game out.
  8. Nasty dunk by Kobe followed by a sick behind the back pass from Lamar to Gasol. That pass from Lamar really reminded me of Kobe's pass in the finals against Orlando.
  9. I don't think our frontcourt could have played like a bigger group of pussies.
  10. Bynums get caught up in his one on one matchup against Cousins. Just pull his [expletive] out of there Phil!
  11. ^It deserves its own topic, I'm sure we can get some discussion out of it.

  13. Agreed. I'm not sure how the ref on the baseline missed that call, he had a perfect angle on the play.
  14. Coming out party for Marcin Gortat. He is killing Boston in a variety of ways.
  15. Vintage 21 point quarter for Kobe, yet we find ourselves in a tight game. DeMarcus Cousins is absolutely killing us.
  16. Gortat hits a three at the buzzer. Just that kind of quarter for the Suns.
  17. Washington was so close to getting their first win on the road this season. Kevin Durant straight up took over in the second OT.
  18. Chicago played a complete third quarter and turned the entire game around. The officiating was absolutely horrendous in the short time that I watched the game, completely biased in favor of Orlando.
  19. ^lol, I don't even want to know how the fans reacted to the 42 point fourth quarter for the Grizz. Epic fail for the Sixers. Jrue isn't the most trustworthy guy at the end of games.
  20. Here's a quick look at the shoes that KG is going to be wearing during the game. Pretty pertinent to Sundays game. http://a323.yahoofs.com/ymg/ept_sports_nba_experts__69/ept_sports_nba_experts-655655474-1296181304.jpg?ym4w7dED_UGcZAGc http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/blog/ball_dont_lie/post/Kevin-Garnett-s-Beat-L-A-shoe?urn=nba-313525
  21. Keep forcing Lebron into jumpshots!
  22. Haha good observation on the Melo part. I'm not sure what Stern is going to do, my post was just based on what I read.
  23. ^Dirk plays the four, I'm pretty sure they can't just throw him into the starting lineup to play center.
  24. ^But you have to consider the talent that Nash worked with in 2006-07. He had a couple young athletic guys in Amare and Marion, who were excellent at finishing around the rim. Amare was putting up 20.4 ppg and was hauling in 9.6 rpg while shooting .575% from the floor. Marion chipped in with 17.5 ppg and 9.8 rpg. In addition, Nash had a couple sharpshooters at his disposal who helped spread the floor. Barbosa was scoring 18.1 ppg while shooting the three ball at a really high rate (.434%), and Raja Bell who averaged 14.7 ppg who also shooting the three ball with effeciency (.413%). This team was designed to run the floor and score points in loads, it's no wonder that Nash was able to put up career numbers that season. As for this season, Nash has worked with little to no talent at all. He lead's the team in scoring, which is pathetic considering the role he has fulfilled his entire career. Vince Carter is supposed to be their number one option but he's only averaging 15.8 ppg while shooting .425% from the field. And then you have the ageless wonder Grant Hill who is their third best player bar none. Outside of that the team is garbage. The Suns have no explosive players, no dead eye three point shooters, and basically no one player who Nash can run a pick and roll, or pick and pop with effectiveness. The fact that he has been able to nearly match his stats from 2006-07 is just amazing in my opinion. Nash alone is preventing the Suns from sinking. There's a good chance that they would have under 10 wins without the man.
