We've looked really sharp in this series, so I'm not worried. Phoenix will need to light it up for downtown if they have any chance of winning.

http://realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/66687/20100520/lakers_want_jackson_to_take_a_pay_cut/ I'm hearing it's a 60% reduction in salary, that's ridiculous.

They have as good of a chance as Phoenix.

Odom is a lazy [expletive] on defense, not once did he contest Grant Hills midrange shot during the third quarter. Artest has done a good job defending even though J Rich has had good third quarters in this series; plus Artest his hittin his shots finally so why would mess around with something that's working.

This Celtic team is as good as '08 team???

Tony Allen is a pest. He isn't a three point threat like Posey was, but he slashes and finishes around the rim, I think you are kind of underrating him Kingfish. -
GM2: Phoenix (0) @ LA Lakers (1)
The Regime replied to Real Deal's topic in Los Angeles Lakers Team Forum
Kobe took a page out of Steve Nash's book today, his passing was pin point. Also Pau and Odom basically picked apart Phoenix in the third quarter. It was easy basket after easy basket. Amare is absolutely terrible on the defensive end, he sure doesn't play like the second best player on the team. You can just tell by his body language that he was demoralized after getting destroyed play after play by Pau. I wonder what he has to say about Odom's double double tonight. Phoenix had some luck with the smaller lineup, but I think alot of that had to do with lazy defense on our part. Grant Hill (along with J Rich) kept the Suns close, and Odom was giving him the midrange shot all day for whatever reason. This game shouldn't have been tied at the end of the third. I also though Kobe was giving too much space to Dudley to shoot the three ball, he's pretty much automatic from downtown. Ron Artest has been amazing. He really struggled offensively in the first couple rounds but he has come alive in this series, and as Brandon said his hand looks healed. This series might just be a sweep, the Suns have no answer for our height. They might shoot themselves into one win but that's about it. Time for some revenge against Boston. -

I'm hearing that someone hacked his account, he was supposedly at the podium when someone tweeted that. -

Cocky [expletive] bastard, I can't wait till we play ya'll. -
That lineup looks pretty good on paper. What happened to all those Iggy trade rumors, are the Sixers still looking to shop him? Evan Turner is really versatile so you could play him anywhere from point to the three so that shouldn't be an issue.

Amare -"Odom had a lucky game"
The Regime replied to Be Like Mike's topic in Los Angeles Lakers Team Forum
Amare needs to stop the hatin, Lamar needs to show him up in game 2. The Suns as a collective group make me sick to my stomach. -
I think they are. They have been sharp on defense this whole postseason, no missed assignments, excellent rotations, and very discipline. Offensively the Big Three have regressed, but the emergence of Rondo has revitalized them. And how about their bench? Guys like Sheed and Tony Allen are coming in every game and are putting up big minutes. Our matchup against them isn't going to be as easy as I thought it would be.
-
Vince Carter is not a postseason player. The Magic looked to him, and he choked. Rashard Lewis has been a no show, the Celts are chasing him off the three point line and there is no other way he can make himself useful. Sadly JJ Reddick was their best player today outside Dwight Howard, he's the only guy who isn't settling for a jumpshot everytime he touches the ball. This series is over, the Celtic defense is suffocating them.
-
Must win game for the Magic. Dwight should be more aggressive on offense, someone off Orlando's bench needs to have a big game offensively.

Kobe wont go off for 40 this time, but he'll have another nice game. I don't see how you guys can counter our size so I see another w. -
I would love to see the Jazz end up with a top 3 pick. Pair either Wesley or Turner with Deron Williams, that would be beast.
