  1. Sluggish start for the Thunder, really similar to game 1. Kendrick Perkins should never get touches in the post regardless of who is on him, he is complete trash.
  2. Same here. I just don't understand the point of doing it when you're going to get back into the same bed (most of the time) the very next day.
  3. This is just too cool. http://www.ohea.eu/index.php/eng.html
  4. All valid points. Like I said I didn't watch him a whole lot, but he's a stat sheet stuffer. I knew he was pretty successful with the Blazers, but those numbers especially in the postseason are pretty amazing. I'll have to watch some tape on him when I get some free time.
  5. To Atlanta: Pau Gasol To Los Angeles: Josh Smith Zaza Pachulia Don't think it's much of a longshot when you consider the facts. Smith has been disgruntled and has asked to be traded in the past, and the Hawks have not been able to get over the hump. Pau Gasol would give the Hawks a legitimate post player something which they haven't had for over a decade. He pairs up alot better with Horford than Josh Smith imo. The Lakers get younger and add some much needed athleticism.
  6. Looks like Chris Bosh is going to be starting tonight.
  7. Yeh it was nice to see Jordan's competitive aside even during scrimmages. It never took a whole lot to get him riled up, and his ability to kick it to another gear just amazes me even to this day. Also am I the only one who felt that Clyde Drexler and Chris Mullen were out of place? I didn't watch them a whole lot growing up, but I know enough to say that they were no where on the same level as the other guys on the Dream Team.
  8. Spo and Wade will share the blame. Wade's postseason stats are basically identical to his regular season numbers. But as Lebron has elevated his play in the postseason, he has failed to do the same. That's primarily why he is being scrutinized so much, and rightfully so. As for Spo anything short of a championship is failure. If they aren't winning it all then he's certainly subject to blame. His job is on the line right now.
  9. I felt like Ty Lawson really took a step forward and kind of assumed the role of the leader (particularly against the Lakers in the postseason). Now granted that he's no superstar, he certainly has the potential to be a 20/10 guy on a nightly basis. He's more of a good second option. As far as scoring in crunch time goes, the Nuggets don't really have a guy like Melo who can impose his will and score key buckets down the stretch. Afflalo seems to be the guy that Karl likes to go to, but his scoring abilities are really limited. The Nuggets are a really good team by definition, and they can certainly compete against any team in the league but it's not a championship roster. Outside of Lawson, I would make everyone available on the team. They need to put together a package and get a legitimate scorer.
  10. Harden won't get into foul trouble like he did in game 1. His contributions tonight should give them a 2 game advantage.
  11. I didn't really like Durant at the start of this season, but he has really grown on me. His game is just so fluid and he's just a really humble person basketball aside. Definitly moving into my top 3. And I agree with Brandon, Kevin Durant could finish as the all time scoring leader when it's all said and done. Prime Durant is going to be a scary scene to witness.
  12. Wade sucks. Dude can't do shit unless he gets to the rack or draws fouls.
  13. Collision with two great defensive plays but get screwed over both times.
  14. All Durant can do is reach. Thunder need to play Lebron tight and not let him get a full head of steam. That's three time this quarter that he has got to the rim.
  15. Thabo got bailed out both times on those two missed fast break opportunities.
  16. One call doesn't constitute a whole games worth. Plus this is the advantage of having home court.
  17. You're playing a far more athletic team, what do you expect?
  18. Westbrook is starting to press. That won't bode well for the Thunder.
  19. Jared Sullinger has been really overhyped in college imo. Wasnt the dude a sure lottery pick at one point? I just cant see his game transitioning to the NBA level. He's too overweight and has no athleticism.
  20. Duncan is pretty much a lock to resign with the Spurs. With that said, KG would be a significant upgrade at PF. You pair those two up and your looking at one of the most formidable frontcourts in the NBA even at their respective ages. I still think the Spurs feel they can make one last run at a title so this move would make a lot of sense for them. It'll be hard to sign both, but its not a longshot.
  21. I guess you'll just realize that when OKC wins the NBA title.
  22. I'm not opposed to a Gay-Deng swap either. It would essentially benefit both teams. Also I wouldn't really qualify Deng as an overpaid player. He is highly inconsistent as a #2 option, but his defense is invaluable. He's done an excellent job defending Lebron, and that will come in handy in the long run. I still feel that he has a little bit of upside and hasn't necessarily peaked yet. He's become a better three point shooter compared to last season, and he's the only Bull outside of Rose who can put the ball on the floor and create a shot. Unless the Bulls are upgrading at the position then there is no need to trade him.
