GM1: Miami at Oklahoma City
The Regime replied to Real Deal's topic in Oklahoma City Thunder Team Forum
The media has been pretty neutral on the series. I would think that the Thunder are slight favorites in the series. -
Garnett On San Antonio's Free Agency Radar

Bulls took the regular season series 2 games to 1 (one win without Derrick Rose). It's unfair to just assume that a healthy Bulls team couldn't edge them out in a 7 game series. Rose still holds much of the scoring burden but the Bulls offense as a whole is different from last season. Rip adds another scoring dimension and Deng was an improved scorer. The knock on Rose's game was that he was a poor jumpshooter, but I thought he had improved in that department especially from three point range. IF they were healthy this season they could have made a run. If the Pacers had played their cards right they could have upset the Heat. Even the Celtics had a golden oppertunity. The fact is that they Heat aren't as good as people make them out to be. LeBron is a beast, but Wade has declined significantly this season (partly due to his knees) and Bosh is a hit or miss on certain nights. The rest of the roster is full of mediocrity. Miami isn't going to be making any significant roster upgrades as long as the current big three are in tact. Given that I think the Bulls can knock them out considering they have most roster flexibility and ability to strengthen their roster.

I agree. He needs to be more of a playmaker, and less of a scorer. That's when the Thunder are at their best. The Thunder are just playing far better team basketball right now. I see this series going a maximum of six games. -
Do people not realize that they look like tools with those things on. Unless you have prescription glasses you shouldn't be wearing them.
-
Manny landed 100+ more punches, and on top of that they already had a date set for the next fight lol. Way not to make it look rigged.
-
Fatigue has never been an issue for the Thunder. They've had over a week of rest so your point here is invalid.
-
There is no way in hell he is going to have a similar impact in the next season. I guarantee that he struggles. Thunder have way more athleticism and length to defend him.
-
Don't feel sorry for the Celts, but I feel bad for Doc. He was nearly tearing up at the end there. He's had a good run though. Celtics are going to have a really interesting offseason.

Motiejunas is coming to the NBA.
The Regime replied to YugoRocketsFan's topic in Houston Rockets Team Forum
The odds aren't even comparable. -
I'm surprised the Heat werent able to mount a run while KG was out. Boston is doing an excellent job jumping passing lanes and defending guys tight.

Good European big guys come once in a blue moon. I wouldn't set my expectations to high Rocket fans. -
I'm not really sure what the cap situation looks like for the Bulls, but they should probably try to trade for or sign a post player. Outside of Boozer they really dont have anyone as far as playing with their back to the basket. Also they should maybe look into getting a hybrid three/four. Other than that I'm staying put if I'm the Bulls. The core is in place for them to win a championship, it just comes down to health. Rose, Noah, Deng, and Gibson should be untouchable unless they are getting a significant upgrade (not a draft pick).

People keep throwing around the sim league idea but they never work and it that been proven atleast 3-4 times on this site alone.
-
Both squads are locked in as expected. This game is going to come down to execution and turnovers.
-
I know lol. So was I.

You finally realized it. Now we can agree that Lebron is a douchebag.

Iggy / Golden State Trade Rumors
The Regime replied to Need4Sheed's topic in Philadelphia 76ers Team Forum
The Sixers seem very adamant in stockpiling picks lol. Considering this trade goes trough that would give them 7, 15, 35, 45, and 54. There were certain points last season that I felt the team was ready to hand over the reigns to Evan Turner. People said that Turner and Iggy couldn't coexist but I thought they faired pretty well in the playoffs. I cant see management trading him especially after what he did this postseason. -
Let's just hope Brandon has a change of heart. But the way things have been going lately it doesn't look like that's going to happen.

Spo is getting outcoached once again. He's a goner at the end of this season.

Lakers Insiders: Pau wants to be a Bull
The Regime replied to magicbalala245's topic in Chicago Bulls Team Forum
Unless that trade involves Deng and Noah/Gibson there is no reason why we should pull the trigger. -
GM3: San Antonio at Oklahoma City

Prodigy stop trolling, that shit is just getting annoying. I really think the winner of game 4 will go on to win the series, there is just too much momentum relying on that game. Westbrook the playmaker> Westbrook the scorer. He probably played his most efficient game last night enough though the stats might not necessarily indicate that. -
One of the worst officiated games I've seen this year. Just saying. I felt like I was watching the 2006 NBA Finals.

Kobe Fans Worst Nightmare
The Regime replied to EastCoastNiner's topic in Los Angeles Lakers Team Forum
I could care less if Duncan won another NBA championship, dude is humble and deserves it. Plus what does that have to do with Kobe? Duncan has a far better supporting cast than Kobe right now, he isn't "better" than Kobe right now his team is. As for Lebron I wish he never wins a NBA championship. I despise Boston and I find myself rooting for them right now, it's gotten to that point. -
Arash Markazi: I predict Chris Paul Will Leave
The Regime replied to Sħãlïq™'s topic in Los Angeles Clippers Team Forum
That's the guy, I'm sure a few of you recognize him from ESPN. http://frontrow.espn.go.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/arash-markazi.jpg All valid reasons. At the end of the day where else can Chris Paul go where he has a change to win immediately and remain in the spotlight? Only team I can think of is the New York Knicks. Clippers need a couple things to happen. Get a head coach with a winning track record, and get a legit #2 or #3 scoring option. The blueprint is already there.
