GM1: Oklahoma City at San Antonio
The Regime replied to Real Deal's topic in San Antonio Spurs Team Forum
Did I hear this correctly? The team thats sweept in the first two rounds has never won a Conference Finals. That's amazing. -
Philly never had a good grip on the game. Iggy played one hell of a game though, and if I'm the Sixers I wouldn't even consider trading him. Looking forward to the Western and Eastern Conference Finals.

Where does LA go from here?
The Regime replied to Check my Stats's topic in Los Angeles Lakers Team Forum
LOL no thanks on so many levels. -
Well if this place does legitimately shut down it would be awesome if Smiity started up a new forum from scratch. Maybe it could focus on more than just basketball. Just throwing some ideas out there.
-
Pacers played a really shitty second half, their ball handling and passing was just sloppy. Plus it didn't help that Wade was hitting every thing that he threw up, the dude knows how to split a double as well as anyone in the league.

Philly doesn't stand a chance against Miami with or without Bosh. This will probably only be the only time I ever root for Boston. At this point I'll be happy if any team but the Heat win the title.

Well this was uncalled for.

I'm not going to say that Kobe played perfect post season basketball because he didn't by any means. He had to become a volume shooter and for that you accredit the mediocre play for the Lakers across the board. There wasn't one guy on the team who picked up the scoring slack. Pau was disengaged at times and just played hesitant and scared, and Bynum was just disinterested. These two guys were supposed to dominant opposing frontcourts, but they came no where close to doing that. There were certain occasions where Kobe made crucial mistakes (most notably the last 2 minutes of game 4) or forced the issue on offense. But you cant blame him when the offense becomes stagnant and the ball finds its way back to him more than often. With that said, you cant point a finger at Kobe for lack of effort. He came out every night and played like he actually wanted to win, and I couldn't say the same about Pau or Bynum. Kobe has reason to put those two on blast, they deserve it 100%. -
Didn't be beat you lol, and you were trying to nano his ass all game? I guarantee he would whoop any one of you if you played him, if you guys have the balls then step up. As for the game, the commentary is shit as always. The graphics look a little better but nothing special. I'll probably buy the game the week that it comes out, hopefully it doesn't disappoint.

The problem isnt with Mike Brown, and it's unfair that he gets criticized so much. I have nothing against him. Unless Phil plans on coming back there is no need to make a coaching change. The problem with this team starts with Pau and Bynum. One plays like a little [expletive] and the other is just immature and just doesn't give a shit. The inconsistencies with those two just killed us. If we need to package them both for Dwight Howard then do it. In retrospect I regret the Lakers not pulling the trigger on that trade. As a whole trade everyone and anyone not named Kobe. Get Dwight, try to upgrade at point (I'm not sold on Sessions being a starter on a contender), and get some talent on the bench. Jordan Hill is the only respectable bench player on the entire roster. -

GM4: San Antonio at LA Clippers

DeAndre Jordan is shooting 17% from the strike. I just never understood how anyone could shoot that bad especially when they are playing at this level. -
With the amount of open looks the Pacers had that quarter they should be up atleast 15.

Where Does Atlanta Go From Here?
The Regime replied to Built Ford Tough's topic in Atlanta Hawks Team Forum
A guy who can play with his back to the basket. The way I see the Hawks have enough shooting to spread the floor, they need guys who can play in the post. It's time for them to turn a new experiment. -
Yeh I'll definitly let you know. Tickets ranged from $150-$450 the last I checked.

Just a Southern Cali thing as far as I know. They have like 3 different shows.
