First of all I will never have a problem with a Met going to all star game. Now yes I am in favor of the best players, statically and overall. Wright is have an excellent year and at his current pace he will close to putting up another 30/30 which is def all star worthy. If Reyes Pagan Bay Castillo Davis or Francoeur were in a position of leading fan voting I'd say no that's bull[expletive], would I bad mad? No, but I wouldn't think it was fair. However if Wright does make it I don't have a problem because he is putting up all star worthy stats. McGehee and Zimmerman will make as alternates. If Polanco had the same stats as Wright, I'd have no problem with him leading.
