Watched it unbiasly, honestly didn't think it was that cool, also brought up what i thought could be an identity crisis in that who's show would it be, Derrick Rose or LeBron James? Who gets the ball down the stretch, I know Rose normally has no problem passing the ball and moving out the way but he won't do that with 1 minute to go in a tie game.

So because Konerko is in a contract year he is the better choice in 1 at bat to decide home field advantage, interesting.

I agree at the moment Zimmerman is the better choice, I just feel Wright is currently heating up, and Zimmerman has been over performing since coming back. Right now Zimmerman > Wright obv, but who knows what can happen over a month. Yeah I would have mentioned Wrights OPS but it's not just his OPS, it's every offensive stats, SB's, 2b's, 3b's, hr's, obp, slg...except K's of course, Wright is on pace for like 200

If not the allstar game determining home field, what should? Better record? That's not fair either. Interleague play record? That's not fair either. There is no good way to determine home field advantage, at least this makes the ASG better.
