Once Jose Reyes comes to his full 20/60 potential he will be better than Hanley. Especially because Reyes's defense is years ahead of Hanleys. Sorry, I refuse to handicap my team defensively with my first pick. I would go Albert Pujols. Best hitter in the game and one of the best defenders at his position, and he's only 4 years older than Hanley. I definitely would not take a catcher. A guy who is has the highest risk of being injured out of anyone on the team, no way I'd take that risk.

Pitchers are way different. Steroids don't help pitchers perform as much as they help hitters perform. Steroids repair your muscles at a much increased rate and making them grow faster. Thus allowing you to work out more and heal quicker. Pitching is more about flexibility than arm muscles. The only thing steroids would help a pitcher with is help them heal quicker from injuries, allow them to pitch longer in games, and allow them to maintain arm strength throughout the season. That being said you never know which hitting starts are steroids users.
