It's comeback time.
-
Did anyone see the play during the IND/JAX game where the Colts thought Thomas called for a fair catch and he returned it to the house? Also, MJD just fumbled on 4th and 1 from the Jaguars 35 yard-line. That was a ballsy play. I get all of the great games today. I get IND/JAX, PHI/NYG, and then I get to see the Jets get raped by the Steelers. Life is good.

Maybe Manning throws a few picks this half and the game turns around.......
-
I'm not saying it was a terrible no-call, but I just think that it was definitely more offensive than defensive. And, I'm saying the Giants are starting most of the shoving and altercations after the play.

WK15: Jacksonville @ Indianapolis

Back to the locker room. -
I don't care who wins this game, but the Giants are getting away with some obvious calls, and that's not including the terrible challenge that wasn't over-turned. One of the touchdowns was an obvious PI where they actually called it against the Eagles, and they're getting away with a lot after the play.

That's less "you know's" per second than interceptions. .

New York Jets Blame Patriots For Tripgate

You're telling me to stay on topic, yet you bring Belichick into the conversation. -
New York Jets Blame Patriots For Tripgate

Yes, it does. You were talking about Belichick and Spygate, and I'm telling you that you and many people still don't know what they got fined for. I could give two [expletive]s if Belichick said he had no knowledge about it. His record is better after spygate than before, so I could give two [expletive]s about him owning up to it. -

And, if you'd like to get your facts straight about what the Patriots were fined for, that'd be wonderful! -
There's a good chance that both of these teams make the playoffs, but I think you are crazy if you don't think this is a meaningful game. This is much more meaningful for the Giants then the Eagles for one reason. I don't like assuming, but let's say that one of Atlanta or New Orleans gets a wildcard spot. That leaves one spot left. If The Giants lose tomorrow, their season may very well come down to the Green Bay game, and if they lose that, they may be toast. Even if the Packers lose tomorrow night, and they can still definitely win, if the Giants lose tomorrow then the Packers game is what the Giants season may come down to, so I think you are downplaying it too much, or haven't really thought of the possible scenarios.

Actually, it had to do with Josh McDaniels filming, not just him being a Broncos fan, but keep crying. -
http://articles.cnn.com/2010-12-16/justice/massachusetts.tobacco.verdict_1_marie-evans-lorillard-cigarettes?_s=PM:CRIME This is absolutely absurd. First, they are trying to play the race card as almost every article I have read on this case has said something along the lines of, "The tobacco companies were targeting black minority children". Also, how the [expletive] does anyone know what actually happened then? There was plenty of testimony that witnesses said what this woman claimed was not true. This will most likely be over-turned, and should be. I've read a lot of comments by people who started smoking when they were very young, and they said that it's all about personal responsibility, which it is. If you want to suit, move to Massachusetts!

DREAM Act Goes Down In Flames
EastCoastNiner replied to EastCoastNiner's topic in Off-Topic Discussion Forum
You're comparison to having a persons dad murdering someone and having the son go to prison as well is absurd, and doesn't really even relate. If this was passed, it would give more leeway for people over-staying visa's, illegally immigrating, and it would make it easier for other minority groups to get amnesty. Let me ask you this then. Would you be opposed to letting the children of the parents stay and make the parents go back to where they came from? The children would go into foster-care or something. -
DREAM Act Goes Down In Flames

I don't agree with you saying they shouldn't be punished. Their parents made mistakes, and now they are the carriers of that burden. And, they are undocumented immigrants, and this will just encourage more people to illegally immigrate to the U.S. because they know there will be no punishment. It's totally fair to a person in France that has gone about the immigration process the legal way while waiting five years to get a visa or citizenship, yet these ILLEGALS can just come in our country..... -

At least it was done legally, and not forced down our throats like health-care. The only problem I see is that when there have been polls taken of many military men, they say they don't want gays in the army, but I could care less if they are or aren't. Also, don't give me this whole "equality" crap. Everyone is [expletive]ing "equal", but many of the minorities want to segregate themselves and be treated differently. Why the [expletive] is there black history month? If you want to be treated equally, then don't have a month for one race. Why are there gay clubs? What the [expletive] is the point of that? It's pretty much saying "I'm not equal". The real oppressed class in this country is becoming the white middle class, and that's just the truth.

He wasn't filming, but this is funny coming from a Bronco's fan. . Good job McDaniels. -
A lot of the first few posts will be from barstoolsports, but I have plenty of other links that I'll be posting each day. These are just some stories from the past few days. http://nyc.barstoolsports.com/random-thoughts/man-attacks-his-brother-with-a-crowbar-for-taking-a-bite-out-of-his-fried-chicken/ http://nyc.barstoolsports.com/featured/does-this-look-like-the-face-of-a-4-foot-9-man-who-claimed-to-be-autistic-and-needed-to-wear-diapers-to-trick-baby-sitters-into-taking-care-of-him/ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2tUP6T6uMPg http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gdRCXrr-XHo&feature=player_embedded I feel like an [expletive]-hole for posting the fourth link, but it was worth sharing......

Oh, I sure as hell know they could lose both of them easily, but I'm just going with the notion IF they win them both. .
-
There are obviously no givens in the NFL, but just look at the remaining schedules for the 49er's, Rams, and Seahawks. 49er's: Rams and Cardinals Seahawks: Falcons, Buccaneers, and Rams Rams: Chiefs, 49er's, and Seahawks. Now, IF the Seahawks happen to lose to both the Falcons and Buccaneers, while the Rams lose to the Chiefs, the 49er's will be controlling their own destiny because of their division records. However, this is based on the 49er's hypothetically winning their final two games.
-
I know the 49er's have played like ABSOLUTE CRAP this season, but if the Seahawks and Rams lose this week, I'd say the 49er's would be the favorites to win the division, solely based on their schedule. The only two games they have left are against the Rams and the Cardinals, and if they win those games, they have a good chance at making the playoffs. .
-
I still don't think people should completely buy the Chargers. They did crush the 49er's, but they are only 2-2 against the pathetic NFC West, and they have struggled big time at times this season.
