  1. What part of, "he shouldn't have hit him" don't you understand? I never said what Seymour did was right, but to say the situations were similar in incorrect. There's a difference between pushing a player in the helmet(which happened in BOTH incidents), and punching a defenseless player in the head without his helmet off on the ground. Yes, Finnagen started it and provoked Andre Johnson, but once someone is on the ground, you don't start punching them in the head no matter what. That would be an additional penalty in the NHL, which allows fighting. I wouldn't have as much of a problem with hte ruling if they were both swinging on their feet, but you don't punch a player on the ground without his helmet off.
  2. I think if it was T.O., Moss, or another WR with perceived attitude problems, they would have been suspended, and I do think it may have to do with how big of a game the Eagles game will be.
  3. You are grasping for straws here, and missing completely. I really don't get how you can think the situations are similar at all. It's been said that Richard Seymour didn't know it was Big Ben, and even if he did, how can you say it was unprovoked. Big Ben was right behind him saying something. He shouldn't have hit him, but saying that pushing a QB in the helmet after turning around is the same thing as taking cheap shots at a player on the ground with his helmet off is the same thign is truly absurd. You can troll better then this.
  4. The Patriots have nothing to do with this, but keep trying to bring them in every conversation.
  5. Those incidents weren't anything alike. Richard Seymour hit Big Ben once, and he wasn't even looking at him originally. They are completely different, and the only reason you are mentioning it is so you can try and call me a homer for saying Seymour shouldn't be suspended for pushing Big Ben in the face. However, in your fantasy world, throwing punches at a guy while he is on the ground without a helmet on is the same as punching/pushing/shoving(whatever you call what he did) a guy in the helmet after reacting to being touched is the same thing. You know what you are saying is ridiculous. The incidents were NOTHING alike.
  6. That's incredibly dumb and contradictory what the NFL has said it wants to be. If they were playing a bottom feeder team on Thursday night instead of the Eagles, there is no doubt he would be suspended.
  7. I would believe you a little more if your source was someone other than Peter King.
  8. There's nothing that really stands out with Matt Ryan. He is a good QB, but he does not have the same skill-set as some of the premier QB's in this league, and Rodgers is one of them. He wins games which is all that matters, but he's more of a game manager than a QB that will take control of a game and lead his team to victory.
  9. If the 49er's win tonight, the divsion race is going to come down to the wire. I honestly think that the division will be won with a 7-9 record, and possibly a 6-10 record, which I don't really mind at all. . I never [expletive]ed about the Patriots missing the playoffs with an 11-5 record, so I sure as hell won't be disapointed if the 49er's can make it with a 6-10 or 7-9 record.
  10. The Packers flaws were exposed even more today.
  11. They won the game, but they hardly kicked their [expletive], and they did have their best defensive player, but he just had his ego bruised and left the game. They've beaten ONE team above .500. We'll see what they can do next week at the New Englad Patriots.
  12. Maybe, we'll see. Tell me when the Jets beat someone of note though.
  13. Damn, Warren seems mad. . He never shows anger.......
  14. They are better than a lot of the teams they face. However, they haven't really been playing like it, and they are getting lucky. I never said they weren't better then a lot of those teams, but thank you for putting words in my mouth. I'll PM you my paypal information in a few.
  15. If someone did try and break his arm, I wouldn't defend it, but I don't believe him. Also, what you said in your first sentence makes no sense, but you probably realized you weren't making sense with your previous quote. Show me where I am saying it is alright to break someone's arm at the bottom of a pile, and if a player on the New England Patriots did it, I would defend them. Get looking you dumb [expletive].
  16. What is with you Reno's trying to offer injured players to everyone? This one isn't as bad because he's not supposed to be out for the season, but damn.
  17. I knew you were dense, but not this dense. Shaun Hill complaining about the Patriots being dirty at the bottom of the pile when his OWN team was playing dirty does correlate. It's time for you to go back to school.
  18. Unless Bill Romanowski was at the bottom of the pile, I doubt that happened. Also, it's funny that he's saying the Patriots were being dirty when his teams defense started playing dirty and had the Patriots kick off from the Detroit Lions 40 yard line. . Also, Shaun Hill can't throw for [expletive] anyways.
  19. For whatever reason, I wasn't thinking about the two wildcard spots, but rather just one. Mark Snachez has been clutch, but there's no way in hell you can't say the Jets haven't been lucky, and many of their fans would say the game. They were bailed out of a late PI call against Denver, and ended up winning that game. They should have lost the the Lions, or at best tied, but the Lions let them off the hook. They should have lost the the Browns, but the Browns fumbled near FG range. The Houston Texans [expletive]ed up big time, and Mark Sanchez made them pay. They played like [expletive] last night, and if it wasn't for the incorrect call with a fumble on the kick-off, that game could have turned out different. They are finding ways to win which is all that matters, but they haven't won convincingly. Let me know when they beat someone of note. I really hope they get a rude awakening next week.
  20. I want Arizona to win this game so Boisie State has a better chance of playing in the National Championship.
  21. I'll take Aaron Rodgers, and I think a lot of knowledgable Atlanta Falcons fans would as well. When I was down at the 49er's game in Atlanta, I was talking to some people and they were saying that Matt Ryan is definitely a good QB, but he's not in that top echelon.
  22. Well, it's time to move on and stomp the Jets next week. Hopefully the Jets don't get lucky as [expletive] like they have been getting against Denver, Cleveland, Houston, and Cincinnati. I actually like Rex Ryan a lot, but I hate the [expletive]ing Jets. If the Patriots beat them next week, there is a serious chance the Jets will miss the playoffs.
  23. Honestly, I don't have a percentage, but I know it's big enough that it hurts our country. I think you're the one that's too ignorant to realize that many people do cheat the welfare system, even though I wasn't directly trying to address that. I'm talking about false claims in general, people having poor reasons why they need certain medications and medical leaves, and a bunch of other [expletive]. Are there a lot of people that use the system the way it was meant to be created. Yes, without a doubt, and that's good for them for doing it the right way. However, the effect that the "small" number of people that cheat the system has, kind of over-rides what the people who use it properly.
  24. No, it's not very few people like you'd like to think. Speaking about cheating, I love how some former members of Acorn just got screwed recently, but they are good and innocent people, right? . Get a grip.
  25. No, he's just speaking the truth. I'm sure you'd rather go over there, kiss his feet, and beg to sign a peace agreement. And, when they attack us, you'd sit here and say we deserved it and shouldn't retaliate, while our government should have been prepared for it. . Talk about speaking like a true idiot.
