  1. How is it a no-brainer? He didn't race in some of the major events during the 2008 Summer Olympics, and raced in some of the easier events.
  2. I hope that it will never happen, but someone on another forum made a point that the only way Brett Farve is ever going to retire is if someone retries him........Joe Theisman style. I really hope it doesn't happen, but his act has gone on long enough.
  3. The Eagles, Steve Miller Band, AC/DC, Queen, Elvis, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Who, Stepenwolf(very under-rated), and many other bands and singers.
  4. I don't get how you can take away from Bill Russel's accomplishments from his era, when you won't even think about taking anything away from Michael Jordan when he played in a an era that was not that strong, whether or not you want to admit it, and played during a time period where the NBA was having expansion teams come into the league. I'm not trying to turn this into a Michael Jordan thread, but the point is that if you are going to take away something from a player because of his era, you need to do it to other players that didn't play in a strong era, and had many more advantages.
  5. He is, but it's hard to replace Kobe Bryant on a list.
  6. Are any of you Philadelphia Eagle's fans getting one of these? http://store.philadelphiaeagles.com/Philadelphia-Eagles-Dog-Jersey-_1337666675_PD.html
  7. Teams gameplan much more for a player like Randy Moss than they plan for an elite offensive-lineman. I, by no means undervalue the value of a great offensive-lineman, but I will take the dynamic player that can change the game in one play.

  9. Vince Carter is one of the more over-rated players in the past decade. He is the definition of one-dimensional, and the type of player that basketball coaches tell you not to model your game after.
  10. Steroids can do wonders for track stars.
  11. Having a great offensive-lineman is great, but no way do the best offensive-linemen effect a game like Calvin Johnson, Randy Moss, and other great WR's do. I get your point, but you chose a poor example to use.
  12. I don't really like this comparison because Tiger Woods has to have the best score after 72 holes in order to win, whereas Usain Bolt only needs to win one race. I will take Tiger Woods as no one is nearly as good as him right now, even though he didn't win a major this season. And, for Michael Phelps, once he actually races in the main swimming events instead of not doing them and doing other easier races, I will not choose him.
  13. Tom Cable is going to potentially be facing felony charges. Also, guess who the Oakland Raiders are looking to discipline from this incident? If you guesses Tom Cable, you are.......................incorrect. They are looking to discipline Randy Hanson. .
  14. I really don't see how you guys can say that A.I. is not the best out of this group. Everyone else made me want to cry. .
  15. Many people believe that, and I think that there is a strong argument to be made that he is better and more valuable then the big guy that can only dunk and gets pushed around by players his size or bigger than him.
  16. We should just finish this in one night.
  17. He is by far my least favorite athlete. My second least favorite is Roger Clemens.
  18. Well, tonight's game was quite interesting. I believe I had a 10 point lead in the 1st or 2nd quarter, and "DWiTex34" punted the ball, and I didn't want to get crushed, so I DOVE ON THE [expletive]ING GROUND WITH NO ONE AROUND, and I [expletive]ing fumble the damn ball, and he scores. Then, I'm driving later in the game, and Frank Gore decides to fumble the [expletive]ing ball when I have a chance to tie or cut it to within three points. Then I was down 17 points with about three minutes to go in the game, and managed to cut it to a five point lead with two bombs to Michael Crabtree for a total of 164 yards. My luck sucks!
  19. It's dumb how much [expletive] doesn't go my way. I'm playing "CaliCurbStomper" who was obviously using the Pittsburgh Steelers, and I was the 49ers' I score on the first player, and then he gets a KR TD, then I hit the FG post, then I get a fasle start to put me out of FG range, then he runs with "Big Ben" a lot, and was post the LOS, then I get a first down when I'm down 7, and fumble. WHY?!?!?1?!?!?!?!?
  20. No, I wouldn't boo the pitcher if it was unintentional, which it CLEARLY was, and you are just being a New York Mets fan if you think it was intentional. If it was a pitch that was retaliation, that's a different story, but how you can say "We have no idea if it's intentional or not" is just plain stupid.
  21. I would take the following over him: Adrian Peterson L.T.(I think he is going top have a huge season) Brian Westbrook Frank Gore Steven Jackson Clinton Portis DeAngelo Williams All of them are more complete RB's than Michael Turner, and are better in pretty much every aspect except speed.
  22. I don't think Michael Turner is a "Top 5" RB in the NFL, regardless of his stats.
  23. I feel your pain. . I had a two other roommates last year, and my room was the size of the kitchen in those pictures. .
  24. It would help if the link to the league was put in the first post of this thread, so it is easy for people to find.
