During practices this week, the training stuff mentioned that Kobe had "dead legs". So either the knee or ankle was bothering him, and he needed some rest. I just turned the game on, good to see us blowing them out (kind of).

We deserve to lose because Kobe's hurting and needs the rest? Wow. This is a good test for us tonight. Playing on the road in a tough, playoff-like atmosphere without Kobe (and Bynum). Hopefully this will give our bench some confidence as they will have quite a bit more minutes to play tonight.

Kobe is the kind of guy that can get four hours of sleep, and be totally energized. Having a couple of weeks off before he plays in World's Championship is more than enough rest for him.

Played ball down at the park today with my bro and a friend, and some of the local high school kids showed up. They said they were going out for the team next year, and they wanted to play us. We destroyed them, every single game. Buwahaha it was baaad. Granted I'm a tad sore, but them youngin's ain't got nothing on these old bones.

Picked this up the other day for $30 (brand new). It's my first experience of the series, and I have to say I'm in love. Once you get past the first two sequences, the game becomes an open-world experience. So much fun.

You do what's necessary to keep Kobe on your team, period. Good move on Buss to lock Kob' up for a few more years. Kobe's done so much for this franchise, he definitely deserves the money.

The only thing we have going for us right now is that it's a home game...which isn't much.

Yeah, I've been pretty blessed to have the opportunity to go over there. I'll be over there for a little over two weeks (16 days), and I think the flight is 12-13 hours long. That ought to be fun.

My Grandpa is building a bathroom onto his house, so he's been paying me to do all the dirty work for him. I've been so busy lately, I don't think I would have the time for a full time job, so I think some odd jobs here and there will work out better for me. My parents offered to pay me if I cooked an Easter Sunday dinner for us and some extended family, so I'll do that. Not sure how much I'll get, but hey every bit helps.

Call them, and ask if they have had the chance to look over your application. Calling them back lets them know you're interested, and they may give you a second look. If you don't call them back, chances are they'll just toss your application into a pile and forget about it. When I was working at my old job, I got it by calling them back, several times in fact, and asking if they looked at my application yet. Sometimes you just have to pester them a bit.

I ran that thing like like 10 times, and each time it had the Lakers/Cavs in the Finals with the Cavs winning it. Just now it was the Lakers/Hawks in the Finals, and the Hawks won. I think now it's just screwing with me.

Not so sure about Van Gundy coming back, so I think it'll be between Mark Jackson and Avery Johnson. I know Mark has been wanting to get into the coaching seat for a while, and with all the potential changes in the off-season, I think he'll get the job.
