Its a series of storms, so they're going to be short...but expect one or two more this week following the same pattern. I just hope its not quite as bad on Thursday, I'll be on the road traveling.

It's been raining all day where I live, and on the news there's been flooding and mudslides down in the valley and in L.A. There was also a tornado warning issued for parts of L.A for a short time. These storms hit hard and fast, so they dump a ton of rain and the storm drains back up really quickly. We're supposed to get another two storms like this this coming week, so we won't see any relief for a while.

Jim Buss isn't going to trade away Bynum, not after pushing for him hard in the draft, not after giving him that extension. While a trade like this would make sense, and I would do it, there's no way Jim Buss will on board for it. Bynum is his boy.

Shannon Brown is the man.

He'll get his finger re-wrapped, and he'll come out and hit his shots in the final half...he won't shoot terrible all game, broken finger or not.

I just tuned in, and saw the score. What. The. Hell.

I wouldn't say its the team, because we beat the Blazers at Staples Center, but its that damn arena. We just can't win when we play there. Must be the water or something.

While we fouled you guys WAY too much because of our defensive lapses, the Lakers couldn't buy a call from the officials. Kobe drove to the hoop about a dozen times, and I don't think he got a single call out of it. Its not like he settled for all jump shots, he was trying to get something going in the paint...

The Rose Garden is our kryptonite.

The thing with Davis is, it seems like he plays hard during select games. Last night against the Lakers he looked like his former all-star self, but in prior games it seemed like doesn't really care, settling for jump shots, being passive and non-vocal on the floor. That kind of attitude really won't cut it when your team is trying to make the playoffs. The Clippers need Baron to play like he did last night, every night. Be the leader, be vocal, and make things happen on the floor.

Yeah, nobody really played well except for Odom. Maybe he needs to get the stomach flu more often, he certainly didn't seem affected by it.

Figures, Pau gets injured and our bench was finally stepping up. At least we're playing well...

Thank you Udoka for the choke job, and thank you Kobe for saving our hides with that game winner. We really need to stop playing bad basketball in the first half, its like we're doing it on purpose. Need to get back that killer mentality and just blow teams out from the get go.

Now that I think about it, whatever trade value Arenas had is probably completely gone now. I don't know what team in their right mind would trade for him, and its not like he has an expiring contract. I'm sure the Wizards will be able to waive him once the criminal investigation is finished.

He actually doesn't have a team rep, but I notice him posting quite a bit in those forums. I probably shouldn't have jumped to conclusions, but yea.

Where is this "If I mouth off to Lakers fans I'll get banned" nonsense coming from? I made it crystal clear that anyone who makes those kinds of comments to ANY team would get in trouble. I don't want to see anyone feel threatened when they join because some people will make comments. I used an obvious example of this, new Laker fans, to make my point. My original point was I don't want to see people make those comments towards new members. It doesn't make them feel welcome, plain and simple. I wouldn't feel welcome if I joined a forum and someone was already prejudice against me just because of my favorite team.

I am really, really concerned about Kobe's right elbow. He's doing everything with his left hand now, and he's not even looking to score. Thankfully Shannon and Pau are stepping it up here in the final minutes.

Kobe went to the locker room with a strained elbow, he's getting it worked on. I hope he'll be ok, last thing we need is more injuries for Kobe.
