  1. Money can't buy happiness. Its great to see someone be honest, follow their heart, and make a difference in other people's lives, even when it seems like the crazy thing to do.
  2. It's nice to see that Oden is making an impact for his team, even on nights where his stats aren't the greatest. As this team continues to grow together, I think its really important that he tries hard to avoid getting into early foul trouble and stay out there. Patience and maturity as a player will help him with that.
  3. It depends on far the Suns go this season, really. It'll be tough to win it over Kobe, Wade, Carmelo, and LeBron if he can get his team in shape. If the Suns can be a top 3 team out west, I'd say maybe...but otherwise, he won't have a chance.
  4. I would do that trade in a heartbeat, and as much as I love Drew and would hate to see him go...it's friggin LeBron James. You don't pass that up. Now, if we got Wade while we were at at... C - Gasol PF - James SF - Bryant SG - Wade PG - Fisher
  5. I forgot how confining it is to work within such a small space...I'm used to making larger pieces. http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y120/Koyote/chrispaulsig.png I made an epic fail on the size...re-uploading now.
  6. How about a general NBA sig? I think I'll get in on this, haven't made a signature if forever.
  7. Welcome aboard, always great to see a basketball fan join up. Looking forward to some good discussion with ya.
  8. Heya, not too much, just feeling a tad bit under the weather. Going to update last week's Pick and Roll scores here in a bit.

  9. Well, not only that, but he's getting older too. He NEEDS Amare to come back if he wants a decent shot at a title. One thing that Phoenix has lacked is bench depth...they really could use a couple of core guys coming off the bench and giving some nice production while Nash, Hill, and Richardson rest. They don't really have anyone right now that fits the bill, and all those minutes are going to take their toll near season's end, when you really need your team at its best.
  10. Always nice to see Boston lose, even if it was to the Suns. Nash, Stoudemire, and Richardson really played well tonight. I think that it'll be important as the season goes on to watch their minutes, and manage them well. Suns will need their bench guys like Dudley, Amundson to continue to develop to help extend the Suns rotation a bit.
  11. So we can't express any form of joy, just because it was the Grizzlies? Lakers won. Hurray.
  12. I know that the Grizzlies are a young team and all, but sheesh, they're so bad defensively it's embarrassing. How do you let Luke Walton into the paint like that? Its like the entire Memphis team is deathly afraid of contact or something.
  13. Bosh and Bargnani should have their way with Orlando's front court. Okafor has been struggling, and David West needs to crash the boards more to give his team more second chance points. I like Tonronto in this one, but you can never count out Chris Paul.
  14. How do you not know what your role is going to be when you sign with a team? And how do you not realize that the Grizzlies aren't exactly title contenders? I mean, it's not like he was traded and had no idea, he signed with them.
  15. Both teams match up pretty well, I think it'll come down to who can execute their game plan better. Westbrook and Brooks going at each other will be interesting to watch.
  16. I grew up with moderate asthma, and not being able to breathe sucks. A lot. And when I got sick, there was a good chance I could/would get bronchitis. Needless to say, I have no interest in smoking.
  17. Its a move the state needs to make, the drug is so easy to acquire now that having a ban on it is practically useless. I don't like marijuana, but its better for the state to capitalize on the money instead of drug dealers and criminals.
  18. Cool deal man, always nice to see a fellow anime fan around. I really liked the first season of Code Geass, but the second season was kind of a let down for me. Seemed to be all over the place, and just didn't have the quality that the first season had. Still decent, though.
  19. Welcome, glad to have you here for the season. How about the start those Celtics have made eh? At this rate you guys will end up challenging us for the best record, and maybe even a rematch in the Finals. Also, you a Code Geass fan by any chance?
  20. It has been brought to my attention that I didn't put down a "Winner:" for the Spurs @ Jazz game on TNT (Thanks Lone Wolf). I edited it in, so if you guys want to edit your posts to include it feel free to do so.
  21. We did lose in the Finals, and against the Celtics no less. Blown out in the last game, it was a terrible way to lose. Every single Laker fan here got a shload of crap for it. Being pissed off is fine after a loss, but some fans here need to get a handle on their emotions.
  22. Defense picked up, and we just blew this thing wide OPEN. That's the kind of ball we need to be playing all year long. Artest is beasting defensively right now.
  23. Bad game offensively, defensively, too many turnovers, and just plain ole out of sync. Dallas did a good job keeping it that way, kudos to them. Just a bad game, at the very least this will give the coaching staff plenty of ammunition for film tomorrow.
  24. Make your predictions, and make sure you use FULL PLAYER NAMES. Extra points are given (1-5) to those who discuss games. To qualify for those points, you must participate in that week's Pick and Roll. The game of the week is worth double the points! Also, ALL entries must be submitted before the tip-off of the first game. Good luck!
