  1. Based off what I've seen so far I think these names should make it East Starters Rajon Rondo Dwyane Wade Carmelo Anthony LeBron James Tyson Chandler East Reserves Al Horford Chris Bosh Jrue Holiday Deron Williams Brook Lopez Joakim Noah Luol Deng East Alternate Anderson Varejao or Roy Hibbert West Starters Chris Paul Kobe Bryant Kevin Durant Blake Griffin Dwight Howard West Reserves Russell Westbrook Tim Duncan Tony Parker James Harden Marc Gasol Zach Randolph Kevin Love West Alternate Steph Curry or David Lee
  2. Better passer/court vision? Tie (Their tied IMO when it comes to passing/court vision. Even though Rondo is putting up better numbers this season than Kidd ever has one could argue that Kidd never had the same kind of help with the Phoenix and NJ that Rondo has with Boston) Better Defensive player? Rondo (I have to go Rondo this was close to being a tie for me but Rondo's length and quickness gives him an advantage IMO while Kidd usually just bodies his defenders up) Better Rebounder? Kidd (Kidd's a way better rebounder than Rondo really no argument there) Better at scoring/creating own shot? Kidd (I think Kidd's a better scorer and better at creating his own shot too. He shot's 3's and hit's his free throw's better than Rondo and has a better mid range game as well) Better All Around player? Kidd (As far as all around game goes I have to say Kidd. While there pretty even in passing and defensive Kidd's better than Rondo at pretty much everything else except FG%. So overall i have to go with a prime Jason Kidd)
  3. The more I watch Rondo the more I see similarities between him and a prime Jason Kidd. Both great passers with great court vision Both are great on ball defenders Both can control a game with out scoring Both have a good all around game and are capable of getting triple doubles with out scoring much Neither can shoot very well or are able to create their own shot very good (but are able to when needed). So between the 2 their games are pretty similar but only one can be better. So who is it? Better passer/court vision? Better Defensive player? Better Rebounder? Better at scoring/creating own shot? Better All Around player?
  4. I understand that a pelican is Louisiana's state bird but seriously that's the best they can come up with. Oh well I at least hope that Charlotte buy's back the rights to the Hornets I just can't relate with the Bobcats name.
  5. Right now I would have to say JJ Watt is the better of the 3. May be a little biased there because I'm a Texans fan but no one can argue that what he's doing this year is nothing short of amazing for a 3-4 DE only in his second year. Von Miller is a close second for me, he's a very good all around LB and is arguable a top 5 LB at the moment. Aldon Smith has been beasting as well but he's last out of the 3 for me for these reasons. 1. He's not even close to the best defensive player on his team unlike Watt and Miller who you could argue are the best defensive players on there teams 2. He has Justin Smith in front of him to take on double teams to make it easier for him to get sacks. Now that's not a knock on him because he's a beastly pass rusher but he's all around game isn't as good as that of Watt and Miller. He's coverage skills have improved a bit though. As far as who will have the better career IDK that's really up in the air. I'm going to stick with Watt though even though I think it will be tough to top the type of season that he is having so far.
  6. I thought this would be a very interesting debate. At the moment these are the top 3 players in sacks and interestingly enough these 3 guys came from the same draft class in 2011. Right now Smith leads them all in sacks with 16.5 with Watt behind him at 14.5 followed by Miller with 14. All 3 have been amazing this year but at the moment who would you consider the best right now and when its all said and done who will end up with the better career.

  8. Same here my bro doesnt have CSN at his house. I was shocked to see us score 131 points and Parsons has steped up big time these last few games, it looks like he's really coming into he's own shooting the ball. Asik is still rebounding like a monster and Harden's been playing more consistant and not forcing things these last 2 games.
  9. I saw this earlier on ESPN and thought to myself how many times did this dude even pass the ball.
  10. What impresses me even more about Watt is that he didn't even play in training camp or pre-season because of an injury to his elbow in OTA's. So he's doing all of what you said with an elbow that's probably still not 100%. However I think it's safe to say he won't be getting the MVP because as many have already said he's a defensive player. So far I have Rodgers, Ryan, or Peyton winning it.
  11. Marcus Morris has really stepped he's game up this season, I just wish he would stop taking so many damn 3's. Oh well he's hitting them right now so i can't really complain.
  12. Wow I can't believe what I'm seeing Toney Douglas actually hitting wide open shots.
  13. To me this would have been a great match up to see. Both teams have an explosive offense and both teams were/are hard to beat at home because of a loud great fan base. Looking at the match ups I think Westbrook would work out Bibby, Christie against Sefolosha would be interesting to watch from a defensive standpoint, Durant vs Peja would be a shoot out, Webber vs Ibaka would be interesting but I have Webber winning that battle since he's more skilled than Ibaka, and Divac should get the better of Perkins. Bobby Jackson against James Harden would be fun to watch in a battle of the sixth men . It's really hard for me to say, I want to pick Sacramento because of how their a better well rounded team and I also think Adelman's a better coach than Scott Brooks but OKC has the youth and the better superstars not to mention the Kings had a habit of crumbling under pressure. IDK I guess I'll go Sacramento because they have a better bench and were more experienced.
  14. 2002 Kings (61-21) G-Mike Bibby G-Doug Christie F-Peja Stojakovic F-Chris Webber C-Vlade Divac Sixth Man-Bobby Jackson Bench: Turkoglu, Pollard, Funderburke, Wallace, Brown, Cleaves Coach: Rick Adelman 2012 Thunder (47-19) G-Russell Westbrook G-Thabo Sefolosha F-Kevin Durant F-Serge Ibaka C-Kendrick Perkins Sixth Man-James Harden Bench: Collison, Maynor, Fisher, Cook, Mohammed, Cook, Jackson Coach: Scott Brooks Key Matchups Webber vs Ibaka Westbrook vs Bibby Peja vs Durant B.Jackson vs Harden
  15. IDK I said the same thing. The dude was playing the game of his life with 19 points and 14 boards and he doesn't even see the floor the last 5 minutes of the game. He was also making it difficult for the Heat driving and getting to the rim and as soon as he left the Heat made their run. I honestly felt we could have won had he stayed in but whatever, I wasn't expecting a win much less the Rockets even being in the game.
  16. Yep defiantly front runner for ROY through the first 3 games
  17. Yeah terrible shooting night for Harden he just missed a lot of tough luck lay up and shoot a bit more from 3 then he did the last 2 games. As I said it could have a bit to do with him being winded because of the back to back but you have to be smarter than that at the end of the game especially when your shots haven't been falling and no one else stepped up. Overall the team didn't play that bad but just shot terrible. I also think we should have stuck with Morris in the game he was actually playing well on both sides of the court and it's about time for McHale to start playing T.Jones the dude was making big plays in the preseason and could of helped us today.
  18. LOL I said the exact same thing. He probably would have got fouled too now were down 6.
  19. I take back what I said about Douglas totally sucking. He's been playing good D this quarter but he still has to make open layups or shots
  20. Yeah Morris has really been playing well the last 2 games. I hope he keeps it up and becomes the player everyone expected him to be last year.
  21. Yeah both teams look sluggish but I guess a back to back game will do that to you. This difference this quarter is that Portland is playing amazing D and swatting everything the Rockets bring in.
  22. LMFAO Toney Douglas sucks just when I thought he was going to make me eat my words tonight.
  23. Damn Cole Aldrich is showing flashes of potential in the post
  24. This is going to be a tougher game than the last 2 but if Harden continues to play the way he has with some help from other guys we should win.
