  1. Marcus Morris had is playing good as well 10 points in the first quarter.
  2. I seriously didn't think Aldrich could jump like that.
  3. Harden is the truth 37 points, 12 assist, 6 boards, and 4 steals in his first game as a Rocket. I'm really loving this trade and we played good but we need more players to step up other than Harden. Lin and Parsons both had a good game but they need to step it up shooting the ball. Smith and Delfino played well and we need to get Machado on the roster for some time at PG. Toney Douglas sucks I see why Knicks fans wanted him gone, he can shoot the ball but when he's not hitting he's useless. We need to cut down on some TO's too, I expect TO's to happen because where a young team but if we had played a good team today we would have lost. Also I want to see T.Jones next game, I felt there were certain times this game were the Rockets could have used him.
  4. James Harden is going hard right now 19 points, 5 assist, and 3 boards.
  5. MVP: Aaron Rodgers (This was a tough one and I really wanted to go with someone else but I honestly can't find a player playing better than Rodgers right now he has 2,165 yards passing and his TD to TO ratio is 21-4. I wanted Eli but he has a 12/8 TD to TO ratio and Matt Ryan has played good but not better than Rodgers. I would chose Watt but the NFL hardly gives defensive players any love when it comes to the MVP) Offensive MVP: Victor Cruz (This was kind of a toss up but I went with Victor Cruz. He has 52 catches, 650 yards, and 7 TD, he's very explosive and is a big play waiting to happen. Arian Foster could possibly make a case as well with 659 rushing yard and 9 TD and 10 total TD's. Granted has had a lot of carries this season.) Defensive MVP: JJ Watt (This one really isn't close for me other than Clay Matthews and Lance Briggs and maybe Tim Jennings no one has had the type of impact Watt has had thus far. 9.5 sacks, 10 pass deflections, 34 tackles in only 7 games so far. That's insane for a 5 tech 3-4 D-lineman. Not to mention this guy had a shoulder injury before the NFL year and didn't even have a preseason game to get warmed up. At this moment I believe you could argue he's the best defensive player in the league this year.) Surprise Team: Minnesota Vikings (I kind of underrated this team coming in I don't even think I had them winning 4 games this year and the already surpassed that. I like what Ponder has done so far, Percy Harvin is on the verge of a career season, There defense has looked good, and best of all Peterson looks like he's back to his old form. I'm really liking this team I hope they can keep it up.) Disappointing Team: Detroit Lions (For this team to have the type of season they had last year I defiantly expected better this season. They struggled beating the Rams, lost to the Titans, and for the most part have went down to the wire with most teams. And Matt Stafford has been a bit disappointing this season and he has only connected with Calvin Johnson for even 1 TD pass. Disappointing Player: Mario Williams (This was another tough one because I though about Vick, Newton, and McFadden but for Mario to be one of the highest paid D-Lineman in the history of the NFL he hasn't lived up to it one bit this season. I didn't expect Mario to have a monster season because he's always been a bit inconsistent but I expected way better from him than what I've seen) Offensive Rookie: RG3 (Andrew Luck and Alfred Morris could make a good case for this but I have to go with RG3. Luck may have more passing yards but he's TD to TO ratio is 8-8 while RG3 is 8-3 not to mention RG3 has nearly 500 yards rushing with 6 TD. Both have had there clutch moments this season but at this point RG3 just stands out more and looks better at this moment) Defensive Rookie: Chandler Jones (Jones almost wins this by default since there really aren't that many good defensive rookie's this year like it was last year. So far he has 18 tackles and 6 sacks through 8 games.) Coach of the midseaon: Mike Smith (I would go Leslie Frazier but I can't just ignore the fact that Mike Smith has lead this team to being the only undefeated team in the NFL.) Comeback Player: Peyton Manning (Really no need for an explanation unless you consider Adrian Peterson as a comeback player this year)
  6. MVP: Offensive MVP: Defensive MVP: Surprise Team: Disappointing Team: Disappointing Player: Offensive Rookie: Defensive Rookie: Coach of the mid season: Comeback Player:
  7. What will his number look like for Houston? I went to basketball reference and they have his projected stats for this season to be 18.2 PPG, 3.7 APG, 4.7 RPG, 1.3 STLS, 48% FG, 38 3PT, 85% FT. Thats pretty good though IDK if these stats were projected after or before the trade. Personally I agree with everyone else who sees him averaging around 20/5/5 with him being the clear cut number 1 scoring option with the Rockets. I'm pretty sure he could get 20 with no problem unless someone steps up or Linsanity starts running wild. Will he be an allstar? He has a good chance other than Kobe it's really a bit of a toss up between who would be his backup in the All Star game but I can't really say right now. Where does he rank among SG's in the league today? I'll say top 5 out of the top 10 SG
  8. Which non playoff team from last year do you think can make it to the playoffs in the west this season? For me it is between the T'Wolves and Warriors For the T'Wolves Love, Rubio, and Pekovic should improve from last season with adding Kirlenko and Roy. They lost some good depth but added some nice players like Budinger, Cunningham, and Stiemsma. I think the x-factor's to watch for the T'Wolves will be Brandon Roy and Derrick Williams. We know what to expect from mostly everyone else but Roy has had injury problems and missed all of last season. If he can stay healthy and play anywhere close to his form before retiring he can be a big help. As for Williams he just needs to show he can provide off of the bench into a six man role. For the Warriors Klay Thompson was a good pick last year and drafting Barnes, Ezeli, and Green should help along with adding Jack and Landry in Free Agency. I think the key for a Warriors playoff run lies on the health on Curry and Bogut being healthy. We know what David Lee can bring but if Curry and Bogut can stay healthy with a good season from Barnes and Thompson I think they could have the best shot of going to the playoffs.
  9. That damn Morey just when you think he can't pull any trade off he does.
  10. Wow this trade just came out of no where, good trade for the Rockets though. I hope Martin gets himself together in OKC and Lamb is unproven but looks like a stud with good potential. As for Harden he wont make us no contender but its a start. Lin and Harden looks a lot better than Lin and Martin.
  11. Game time, Texans secondary got exposed big time, ST killed us, offense was no where to be found, and their definitely missing Cushing.
  12. Oh boy Rodgers is looking to carve our secondary up. If our offense doesnt get anything going by the 2nd quarter this could ba a blowout
  13. This should be a good one Matthews vs Watt two of the top leaders in sacks. The Packers are desperate for a win but I think the Texans can pull this one out if we can score in the redzone. There were at least 3 times we were in the redzone against the Jets and we ended up getting 3 instead. I also want to see how the D can hold up with Cushing out, it's gonna be tough but I think we can do it after the adversity we faced last season. With all that said I think we can win but I wouldn't be shocked if we lost.
  14. I kind of agree blocking on this game is hard to do. Most of the time I play defense I use the right analog stick to raise your hands up on defense it usually works and effects the CPU's or your opponents shots when your close to them. The 2-3 zone works good on this game too but other than that I agree they should patch up both the defense and rebounding a bit and there wont be any major problems. And as I said at least this game doesn't have as many problem's as 2k12 did.
  15. I hope so and another problem I found in this game is the lack of blocks in this game which is funny to me because it was to easy to block in 2k12. I guess because so many people complained about the blocking in 2k12 that the cut it down but the cut it down a bit too much.
  16. This has trap game written all over it. The Texans playing a team that there 0-5 against and there on the road, Jets coming of off a blowout lose against San Fran, losing both Revis and Holmes for the season, and will possibly be without Keller and Hill today. It looks like it should be a cake walk but I'm not going to take it for that. Regardless of their loses for this game I still think the Jets will play a lot tougher and harder than last week being that their backs are against the wall but I still think we will come out victorious if we play the way we have the following games.
  17. I finally found my first problem with this game and its the rebounding. I don't know if anyone else has had this problem but I played a game online the other day and I got out rebounded on the offensive glass 17 to 3, no joke. Granted I had the Knicks and I was going against the Bulls who are a better rebounding team I found a lot of the offensive rebounds my opponent was getting were B.S. I would have 3 to 4 guys around the basket for a defensive rebound to his one guy standing in the middle and he would still get the offensive rebound. And there were times were my dude was in perfect position for a defensive rebound but the ball ends up being tipped multiple times until it ends back into my opponents hands. During one defensive possession in this game I had Melo, STAT, and Chandler under the goal and boxing out for a defensive rebound and Rip Hamilton who was far behind these guys ends up somehow getting it. I know some will probably say box out but that's what I did and it still happened. This has also happened to guys that I have played against I would get multiple offensive rebounds in a row that I know I shouldn't be getting. It's understandable at first but after awhile it gets annoying, repetitive, and unrealistic. So far this is my only problem with the game but other than that its still a great game and miles better than 2k12 IMO. I just hope they make a patch to improve the defensive rebounding or tone down the offensive rebounding some. Has anyone else had this problem yet?
  18. I just got the game and so far I like it, the game play is a whole lot better and smother than in 2k12. The two things that caught my eye the most are the in air collisions while doing lay ups and the defense seems improved as well. It feels easier to play in your hands, it may take some time getting used to the new control stick and it sucks that you have to create Kareem, Dr.J, and C-Webb for there classic teams but other than that I think the games great.

  20. Wow that was clearly an interception by Jennings and a PI on Tate.
  21. This was a close game we came out gunning then we made some mistakes that Denver capitalized on to make it close. Overall we played good not much to complain about other than I felt we dropped a bunch of interceptions. I saw at least 3 or 4 that we should of had and 1 were we could have put the nail in the coffin. Other than that good win and I'm happy to finally be 3-0 for the first time hope we continue to roll next week.
  22. Yeah Ben Tate fumbled and Peyton had an easy TD to Stokley and the next possession Joel Dreesen catches a crazy TD after it's tipped.
  23. So far so good with the exeption of that saftey and the Schuab pick were great. I think were getting to pass happy though we need to start running a bit more to balance things out again before Peyton gets really comfortable
  24. This should be an interesting game, the Texans first test of the season and we finally get to see Peyton against our 3-4 D. I think we can get a win if we establish the run game early and get our recivers more invovled than last game. I think our D will maintain for the most part I just hope the high altitude doesnt affect anything.
