Yesss... I expected that Prokhorov just canNOT afford to let Melo go to Knicks. If Melo goes to Knicks to join Amare, his "mission" of turning Knicks fans into Nets fans is over right there. Even when the franchise moves to Brooklyn, it'll be an almost impossible challenge to compete with Knicks and Melo and Amare. And he might as well put Nets back on sale. Prokhorov simply must win the Melo sweepstakes, or it's over for him. It will be as much about getting Melo as it is about preventing him from going to Knicks.

Exactly two loss in a row in which we had 15+ pt lead... Nuggets have 25 losses now, and I swear at least 15 of those, we had a double digit lead.

Then again, noone knew Griffin would be this good before the season. Had LeBron known about Griffin being this good (among other things like Gordon breaking out, Davis playing ball again, Jordan emerging as a defensive center, Bledsoe being a reliable backup) Clippers would probably have been one of his faves.

Gregg Popovich, Paul Silas, Stan Van Gundy, Alvin Gentry, Nate McMillan, and probably Tyrone Corbin can give this kid tough love he needs. Not the "cool" coaches like Westphal.

I disagree with Wade being MUCH better than Gordon... Gordon averages 24.1 ppg (Wade: 25.0 ppg) and plays better defense than Wade, and can play lock-down D. Furthermore, Gordon's more accurate outside shooting (35.9 3PT%) would have complemented LeBron better and spread the floor better than Wade (31.6 3PT%) Obviously, overall Wade is still better... but I disagree with "MUCH".

lol now it's LeBron nodding -
Hate to say it, but my boy AAA doesn't touch J.R. when it comes to athleticism. If we can have J.R.'s athleticism and physical tools... and... AAA's brain, mentality, hardwork, never-ending hunger and need for improvement, in one package, he'd be the next Kobe.

^Cuz he has a chance to actually be a star and is not a born role player. He will be a legitimate star.

Landry Fields: The Modell's sales associate
Multi-Billionaire replied to JYD's topic in YouTube Forum
He talks too much for a role player... I'll probably leave it if I found a Landry Fields jersey -
This is why I love this guy, when we're down 9 with 2-3 mins left, everyone kinda resigned, only AAA kept playing. He played with such energy and confidence that were contagious to the entire team... then he knocked down a 3 to cut lead to 4, and everyone fed energy off him and started playing like they cared. I had a feeling AAA would have taken the shot, he did, I'm happy he got his first GW.

Love or Beasley?
Multi-Billionaire replied to Dr. Feelgood's topic in Minnesota Timberwolves Team Forum
Love is a superstar. Beasley can keep smoking weed for all they care. -
Cmon? Who's your pick? I'm not comparing but I've said it in the past that J.R. has Kobe moves, check Kobe's vintage 97-98 360 lay-up against Hawks (#4 countdown - 1:16) that I've wanted to find for a long time... compare that to J.R.'s own 360... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KBJ1SLOVvuY J.R. just gotta develop mid-range game, post up game, defense, and he's easily the Next Kobe. Too bad, he's too stubborn.

Afflalo is not clutch, as much as I like the guy, he never seems to make big shots.

I believe flagrant 2 (if it stands), results in automatic 1 game suspension at least

1 game suspension... or maybe 2 for J.R.

Favor for a huge Lakers fan

How can she be a Laker fan without Shaq Laker jersey? -
If the Bulls traded for Stephen Jackson...
Multi-Billionaire replied to The Regime's topic in Chicago Bulls Team Forum
Outside of Pop, Phil, Doc, Pat Riley, I would entrust J.R. to Thibs. He is a great coach who can push the right buttons and one that commands J.R.'s respect. One of the things I wanna see is J.R. playing for the coach he respects, it will bring the best out of him. I'm a big believer he has a lot more to offer than just a 15ppg 6th man. -
I think LeBron is the smartest. To go with vision: - knowing where his teammates are (and will be), - figuring out opponents' weaknesses and destroying them, - figuring out his own weaknesses (before his opponents do) and fixing them - seemingly getting better when we say it's impossible for him to get better Guy is still having games of 35pts, 14rebds, 8assists on a team with 1 more superstar (Wade) and 1 more All Star (Bosh)? And he's the one seemingly responsible for Wade, Bosh and everyone else getting their numbers. He's been impressive.

You can't just have a very good woman coach to coach in NBA... motivating unmotivated millionaires athletes is a tall task. However, I believe it can be done... but only a select few can do it, those who have "mystic aura" and command respect... Pat Summit comes to mind (actually she might be the only one that can do it). Nancy Lieberman looks clueless too often for me. Doris Burke lmao If anyone does it, it's Pat Summit.
