  1. Weems the forgotten Nugget Remember though he was traded for by the Nuggets... the Nuggets wanted him. It sure meant something... because we're a factory of virtually unknown players that grow into very good players, e.g. Arron Afflalo, Shelden Williams, etc.
  2. 10 and 6... I was spot on... he's a Nene clone. I hope not. Give me Kevin Love, rebounding machine and double2, great locker room guy without baggage. Or Derrick Favors who imo is way more talented and a kid with great attitude. I'm tired with kids like J.R. Smith who've just hit millions and think they're all that like Cousins. For Melo, it better ain't be for Cousins... it better ain't be.
  3. Considering we've gotten offers of Iggy, Gallinari, K Love is pretty darn good, and without a doubt the best of the bunch. I'll actually take him over D. Favors whom I've been crazy about.
  4. Dude is a beast wow, if I were Nuggets GM I would trade Melo straight for him (not that the Wolves would do it, just sayin)... but Melo would also not approve to the trade. Dude's hunger for the ball is unparalleled.
  5. He does have impressive, tough-to-stop drives to the rim... Lay off the weed, take a commitment to be the best player he can be, and he can be a bona fida player.
  6. I gotta watch this game again, last night was like a flurry of baskets. But I know one thing, to say we can beat the Lakers legitimately would be foolish. I still didn't like how we settled for too many outside shots and how some players were standing around. We won small, but it's hard to imagine we can win small in a 7-game series... unless Shelden averages 15 rpg. I am down with Shelden's decreasing rebounding by each game... he was pulling 15 rpg from pre-season to a couple of games into the season. And I think AA's defense is a lot better last year than this year. I do think he's trying to focus on offense to the point that some of that focus is taken away from his defense. Kind of disappointing.
  7. I didn't buy caramel popcorn But I got peach in mango syrup... It tastes SWEEEEEEEETTTTTTTT
  8. I'm not shooting him down... everyone here is saying, "I like the Chris Paul one"... "I like the Danny Granger one"... as if they were graphic arts. I just don't understand it. I can cook bowls of instant noodles now, something that YOU ALL HERE can do in your sleep, and asking you all here what do you think of my noodles? I then receive comments such as, "I like bowl #1"... "I like bowl #2"... when they all taste the same, and have 1 thing in common: you all who like my noodles can do exactly what I did. It's a 2-3 min job that EVERYone can do. There's no sense of skill, effort to it for the creation to deserve any "score". Comments like, "thanks for the noodle... what? You want me to comment on it? They're just instant noodles, with prepared seasoning and instructions... I can do it in my sleep. There's nothing SPECIAL to it. (ROFL!)" would make a lot more sense.
  9. The point is, there's no skill to this whatsoever that it's pointless to go asking people what they think. If he had added layer, actually done something to the picture... but looked like [expletive], then he could make a thread asking for people's opinion for improvement. But since what he did (cutting pics, adjusting hues) was what literally ALL people can do in their sleep, what's the point of making threads? Because there's no improvement graphic experts like you can suggest to him... --- Let me put it this way: EVERYone can cook instant noodles... just damn boil water and put the noodle, mix with seasoning, and voila... But NOT EVERYone can make pasta with pasta sauce. If someone (no matter if it's their first time cooking) goes around saying, "I just made instant noodle!! What do you think??" THERE IS NOTHING TO THINK ABOUT IT... EVERYONE CAN MAKE INSTANT NOODLES. EVEN IF IT'S YOUR FIRST TIME. Now if he had tried cooking pasta in his first try cooking and it tastes like [expletive], then he can ask people and people will comment, "well maybe you put too much of this, add a bit salt and pepper, etc." Now then, it makes sense to ask people, because there'll be feedback to it. But you don't get feedback to something that EVERYone can easily do.
  10. I said it's an honest assessment. It's not like he added text, blurred the image, or added layers. To The Lone Granger, you got a long way kid, if you create a thread for cutting google pics and adjust the brightness/ hue/ saturation. I mean, the point is, I suck at graphics myself, but I can do what he did in my sleep and do not create threads asking what people think... it's a damn google pic and you just cut it, and adjust the damn hue... what's so damn hard about it? It's no big deal though... but I would also like to say, "good start".
  11. But Scola is also way older and playing a lot more minutes than Love. Give me Love any day... this guy is a beast. Btw, Rockets have been trying to get EVERYone... they wanted Melo, they want Love. Just sayin.
  12. I have played around with PS before... I clearly know how to adjust brightness, hue/ saturation [expletive] and cut an already hue-adjusted picture off google I suck at it, but I can do what he did after 5 bottles of beer.
  13. Dude no offense, but these are google pics and cut... I can do these in my sleep. There's nothing to "think about these" besides "great cut"? If you want an honest assessment.
  14. My best team would be the 2003-04 Detroit Pistons. - They held 5 consecutive teams to under 70 points. - Not even 2007-08 Celtics can touch this, KG was nice, but he's no Ben Wallace in his prime. - They steam-rolled the "favorite" Lakers in the Finals, almost sweeping them, had it not been Kobe's three that force OT in Game 2. - In Game 3, the offensive juggernaut Lakers with arguably the most dominant big man (Shaq) and arguably the most dominant Robin in the history of NBA (Kobe) only managed 68 points as a team. No Spurs, no Celtics defense can best this 2003-04 Detroit team's.
  15. Now we learn this season, no lead is safe against Jazz.
  16. The win stops here for the Lakers... gunna buy caramel popcorn now. Arron Afflalo with 25 pts and some shut down on selfish Kobe. It's gonna taste sweeeeeeet...
  17. I'm pretty sure ESPN said 0-for-20...
  18. This by a Nugget fan from another forum cracked me up real good
  19. Unreal... it's so unreal that I can't help feeling disdain for McRoberts missing that shot lmao... I had been saying in the previous 7 games that the Nuggets had been in every game... until now... where they were standing around and looking lost on defense. The Pacers were definitely hot, but we were standing around as well. I don't think I'm disappointed... I'm excited for the Pacers for this game, but disgusted with the result...
  20. The most amazing thing is Millsap had been 0-for-20 in his CAREER and then all of a sudden, in CRUNCH time, he buried THREE (not one, not two) 3s... Wow... I also turned off my TV midway through 4th.
  21. We gave up 54 pts in one quarter... wow Indiana probably would have made history with a perfect 20-for-20 quarter... but McRoberts missed one at the end. Wow just wow...
  22. This... What's the point of life if you can't enjoy it? Imo, if your mind is occupied, you'll be happy. Occupy it with goal(s). You can have a goal of being rich , being woman magnet, being happy, having a happy family, getting and living a dream job, getting a girl of your dreams, saving up to buy that car, etc.
  23. So far, we Nuggets have competed in EVERY game. Imo, that's all a fan can ask for from their team, to give itself a chance to win EVERY game. We just have to learn how to win those winnable games that we've lost so far. I hope gone are the days when the Nuggets come out flat in the first quarter of a game, throw in the towel for the rest of the game and get blown out by 30-35 pts on the road, shooting 35-40%. So far in the season, we competed in EVERY single game, it's all I can ask for. I love this team.
  24. Yup although the playing time Karl gives him (Forbes) must be driving him (especially a rookie) crazy. One game he gets DNP-CD, and the next game he starts and is asked to guard 7 footer Dirk Nowitzki.
