My best team would be the 2003-04 Detroit Pistons. - They held 5 consecutive teams to under 70 points. - Not even 2007-08 Celtics can touch this, KG was nice, but he's no Ben Wallace in his prime. - They steam-rolled the "favorite" Lakers in the Finals, almost sweeping them, had it not been Kobe's three that force OT in Game 2. - In Game 3, the offensive juggernaut Lakers with arguably the most dominant big man (Shaq) and arguably the most dominant Robin in the history of NBA (Kobe) only managed 68 points as a team. No Spurs, no Celtics defense can best this 2003-04 Detroit team's.

Now we learn this season, no lead is safe against Jazz.

The win stops here for the Lakers... gunna buy caramel popcorn now. Arron Afflalo with 25 pts and some shut down on selfish Kobe. It's gonna taste sweeeeeeet...

I'm pretty sure ESPN said 0-for-20...

This by a Nugget fan from another forum cracked me up real good

Unreal... it's so unreal that I can't help feeling disdain for McRoberts missing that shot lmao... I had been saying in the previous 7 games that the Nuggets had been in every game... until now... where they were standing around and looking lost on defense. The Pacers were definitely hot, but we were standing around as well. I don't think I'm disappointed... I'm excited for the Pacers for this game, but disgusted with the result...

The most amazing thing is Millsap had been 0-for-20 in his CAREER and then all of a sudden, in CRUNCH time, he buried THREE (not one, not two) 3s... Wow... I also turned off my TV midway through 4th.
-
We gave up 54 pts in one quarter... wow Indiana probably would have made history with a perfect 20-for-20 quarter... but McRoberts missed one at the end. Wow just wow...

People that say life doesn't suck...

This... What's the point of life if you can't enjoy it? Imo, if your mind is occupied, you'll be happy. Occupy it with goal(s). You can have a goal of being rich , being woman magnet, being happy, having a happy family, getting and living a dream job, getting a girl of your dreams, saving up to buy that car, etc. -
So far, we Nuggets have competed in EVERY game. Imo, that's all a fan can ask for from their team, to give itself a chance to win EVERY game. We just have to learn how to win those winnable games that we've lost so far. I hope gone are the days when the Nuggets come out flat in the first quarter of a game, throw in the towel for the rest of the game and get blown out by 30-35 pts on the road, shooting 35-40%. So far in the season, we competed in EVERY single game, it's all I can ask for. I love this team.

Yup although the playing time Karl gives him (Forbes) must be driving him (especially a rookie) crazy. One game he gets DNP-CD, and the next game he starts and is asked to guard 7 footer Dirk Nowitzki.

Do you believe in an afterlife?

^No... I'm Buddhist by default cuz my family are all Buddhist... but I am no hardcore or even go to temples anymore since moving to Australia -
Ray Allen, if you can shoot like that, you can play into your 40s. The second purest shooting is owned by Steph Curry imo These guys also deserve mention: - Mike Miller - Kyle Korver - Anthony Morrow - Arron Afflalo - Danilo Gallinari - Steve Nash

I am really happy with the team so far in the season. They share the ball, move the ball, move without the ball, and play hard-nosed defense... Our 4-2 record may not say it, but in the two losses vs Hornets and Mavs (2 games ago), we put ourselves in the position to win, only came up short. In the Hornets game, we trailed by 18 and rallied to lead by 5 in the 4th before losing. We also had a lead in the Mavs game in the 4th quarter before losing. Even the Nuggets team that went to WCF 2 years ago had some games where they just threw in the towel when trailing big. And they would not have won on the road, playing on the second of a back to back, 3rd game in 4 nights, shooting terrible 38%, against a pretty good team like Rockets. So far it's been great.

My religion (Buddhist) says unless you really have a pure heart and enter heaven, you will forever be reincarnated. If you don't do anything major bad/ good... then you'll be reincarnated as humans. But if you do bad to animals, e.g. catching a mosquito alive and pulling its legs one by one, then it's karma that you will be reborn as a mosquito and then a human will catch you alive and pull your leg one by one. Few can enter heavens... only really those with pure heart can enter heaven... otherwise you'll be in the human/ animals realm with the never ending cycle of reincarnation. There are worse realms such as realm of hungry ghosts, realm of shura (never ending war)... etc. -
^Bledsoe has a very good feel for the game. He can definitely be a starting PG of this team once Baron finishes with the Clips. He's got a pretty good shot, he can pass... I would compare him to Toney Douglas of the Knicks but with more athleticism. I love the way we Nuggets played the right way. Nobody on the team cares about their stats but to just win... I love this year's team very much

Not hating on Rose cuz I'm a fan, but this game is further proof the Bulls can't win with him as no 1 option. He's just not the scoring go-to-guy in his nature.

Chances of Rondo winning MVP?
Multi-Billionaire replied to AboveLegit's topic in Boston Celtics Team Forum
16 APG for an entire season would be mind-boggling... but I do think if he averages only 10-11 PPG that would be his downfall. If he averages 10-11 PPG and 16 APG, and even if Celtics win 60 games, the MVP will go to someone else. But if he averages 10-11 PPG and 16 APG, and Celtics somehow win 65+ games (which won't happen), the MVP will go to him. The low PPG just won't cut it... if he can increase that to 15 PPG and average 16 APG then he's absolutely in the discussion. -

I like it. -
I was pissed we lost but when I think about it again, we competed and had a chance to win. All we want as fans is to know that our team competes and gives itself a chance to win every single game. So far in the two losses against Hornets and Mavs, we managed to rally from being down to lead in the 4th and lost the lead again and lost. As long as the team does not throw the towel, keeps competing hard no matter how many pts they trail in what quarter, I'm proud of this team. They just need to learn how to close out games, that is: rebounding. Without rebounding, the 24 secs of "great defense" goes down the drain. We rebound, and we good.

29, 13, 9?? Now I am real confused who the ROTY will go to. I thought Griffin has this, but J-Wall has shown he's up there with him. Easiest way is to let them share the award I guess. -
