  1. I kind of half read the title. Those are the rappers I enjoy listening to the most. My opinion of who are the best doesn't change much though. 1. Nas 2. Biggie 3. Big L 4. KRS-One 5. Rakim (how has no one had Rakim yet?) 6. Tupac 7. Eminem 8. Chuck D 9. Jay-Z 10. Andre 3000
  2. Those are the second and third rappers I enjoy listening to the most.
  3. 1. Nas 2. Raekwon 3. Method Man 4. Big L 5. Rakim (how has no one had Rakim yet?) 6. Biggie 7. Eminem 8. KRS-One 9. Kayne West 10. Andre 3000
  4. Micheal Jordan's Hall of Fame speech crossed the line between confidence and cockiness. LBJ is close second with his Chosen One tattoo, Check my Stat$, etc.
  5. Curren$y isn't going to get the recognition that Wiz gets because the beats he's on aren't as "catchy" as Wiz's. A lot of his tracks are just really laid back and have a jazzy feel to them, especially on Pilot Talk II. Lyrically, Curren$y is light years ahead of Wiz, in my opinion. I'm a pretty big Wiz fan too so don't get the wrong idea.
  6. I got a Polo polo, a half-zipper sweater, NBA 2K11, and Xbox Live. My family doesn't live in the US, so I usually get most of my gifts (ussually cash) when I go to Spain over the summer.
  7. I just got it downloaded. First few tracks are nice.
  8. Wiz is nice, but Curren$y is the best stoner rapper out there. Smokee Robinson was a better mixtape than Kush and OJ, and Pilot Talk was one of the best albums of the year.
  9. Just 2k11 and some clothes. I'm not to picky this year
  10. Mike Brown was a mediocre head coach, but could still be a good assistant in the league. I wouldn't be surprised if a college team went after him eventually.
  11. I don't know how many of you are into this type of purely electronic music. This isn't house or dubstep or anything close to that, but they're beats with a more electronic feel (for lack of a better description). Flying Lotus's Cosmogramma was one of the best albums this year in any musical category. His 1983 album had more of a hip hop feel to it, and according to FL it was heavily influenced by J Dilla. From the looks of it, most of you seem to like the more "traditional" productions, but Flying Lotus is definitely a good listen if your into this type of music. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CybO7XtYpdU http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v-nZ3vIWrVo http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D3yxCBcjh2E
  12. Not at all. I saw us as a team contending for a 50 win season and a playoff spot in the West. It looks like we're looking to revamp the roster so I haven't lost hope.
  13. I may be the only one who thinks the chosen cover was perfect for the album. It just seemed fit the music in it.
  14. Except for the fact that that trade would be pointless, and gives the Grizzlies something they don't need (a loser who doesn't play defense or pass) and takes away something they've been needing for years (a lock down defensive role player in Tony Allen).
  15. Stupid. I have a friend who players division one football (in a smaller school than OSU, but it's still a bowl eliegable school), and he says student atheltes barley have enough to get by. I bet they're living better than the average broke college student, but I don't find this as something that merits a five game suspension. Maybe one or two, but five games is too much.
  16. I'll be glad to take anything in return for him. What a waste of a draft pick.
  17. Well, he got his attention for looking idiotic. Congrats.
  18. My respect for Cleveland points has definitely increased.
  19. It's more common is soccer because a small market team will never be able to do anything unless they get a multi-millionaire owner. Players want to win, and in soccer, you usually don't have a chance unless you go to a big team.
  20. Sad in a way because he has as much talent as any rookie big man I've seen in a long time. A laidback, "do whatever the hell you want" coach like Calipari seems like the only way he can stay in line. He wasn't THAT bad at Kentucky.
  21. Sorry, but fans don't really give the slightest care whether or not their athletes graduate. That isn't what brings the university the big bucks athletically. They want their team to win. Do you honestly think guys like Demarcus Cousins, John Wall, etc. went to Kentucky for the education they will be receiving? A bunch of athletes wouldn't even get accepted to these schools if they weren't given athletic scholarships in the first place. It's the sad part of college sports, but it's also the truth. Coaches aren't given extensions or bigger job offers for graduation rates, it may affect it, but it's one of the last things that comes into consideration.
  22. So this basically dismisses any chance Memphis previously had to join the Big East. Doesn't make sense at all geographically as mentioned before.
  23. First time I've seen a Cavs game this season, and I have to say I'm impressed with their fanbase. A packed house to go see two mediocre teams play is pretty impressive for the NBA these days.
  24. I think Hollins is trying to get a point across. I like this move. Mayo needs to wake up.
  25. It seems to be getting more and more common for lottery picks to spend some time in the D-League,
