  1. So a bad series of playoff games and people forget that he was the second best player on a back-to-back champion team?
  2. It's definitely graphic. That's how I felt about early Eminem and some Tech N9ne songs, but it has grown on to me
  3. That link doesn't work anymore. I have one if you guys want it, just shoot me a PM. I'm about 6 tracks in and I love it.
  4. Nothing about the way Randolph plays shows how particularly talented he is. It's all about his effectiveness. He gets points off tip-ins, and out working the defense to get open. Randolph will never be an intimidating factor as far as shot blocking goes because he's only around 6'9 and ridiculously unathletic. Randolph, since joining the Grizzlies at least, is never afraid to take contact, and can out muscle a lot of big men in the low post, which often makes up for his lack of ability in blocking shots.
  5. Cut a yard, get paid and blow it all on alcohol and food.
  6. Flash doesn't lead to a player being better. I'll give you Dirk and Gasol, there's an argument for them, but Amare, Bosh, and Aldridge? Amare is a horrible rebounder, and a ball stopper, Bosh is a third wheel once he gets on a team with actual talent, and Randolph is a better rebounder and better post player than Aldridge. Period. I'll take Randolph over those flashy, more athletic players any day of the week. Randolph probably has the ugliest style of play in the league. He's unathletic, has dunked twice in his NBA career, and he doesn't have these agile post moves that players like Gasol have. He has the best hands in the league, fights for loose balls, and has a reliable jumper. It isn't pretty, but it's damn effective.
  7. Most reliable offensive power forward in the post, and a top five rebounder, pushing top three. Dirk isn't on Randolph's level in the post, and Randolph has developed a very reliable jumper. Right now there is no power forward I would rather have leading the Grizzlies.
  8. Went to Music Fest last night in Memphis and had a great time. MGMT was amazing and so were the Flaming Lips. One of the funnest nights of my life.
  9. I loved Reggie for all these years, but I think we have our running back for the future in Ingram. Sad Bush's full potential was never fully reached due to his injuries, but I don't expect him to be a pro bowl, every down back if he leaves.
  10. Pretty angry the Saints didn't pick up Bowers. I know his knees worries people, but he is too good of a talent to pass up. There was talk he would be the No. 1 pick for a very long time.
  11. The Forum is going to be crazy Friday. All the tickets are almost already sold out on Stubhub.
  12. Same boat. Eminem has simply been too disappointing as of late. I'm excited to see what Royce brings though.
  13. Going to go see Interpol tomorrow and got my Beale Street Music Fest tickets bought for next week to. A pretty good week in music lined up.
  14. Except for the fact that the Knicks were playing like shit going into the playoffs. If they weren't hit with injuries, they might of not gotten embarrassed, but they still would of lost the series rather easily.
  15. Neither player is underrated because both are recognized as great. Roy is the better player if he comes back from injury well.
  16. I like him even more as a producer. Really talented.
  17. Spitta's mixtape is one of my favorite works he has ever had. Probably my favorite mixtape from here, right up there with Smokee Robinson.
  18. His new album is awesome and is available for a free download on his website. K.R.I.T. and Curren$y are bringing the South back.
  19. Downloaded that XV mixtape today and it's a damn good mixtape. First time I've ever listened to his stuff.
  20. http://pitchfork.com/news/42205-odd-futures-earl-sweatshirt-found/ Tyler said it wasn't true, but I thought I'd post this anyway.
  21. We're been playing without Rudy for the entire second half of the season, and we still managed to make the playoffs and play some pretty good basketball. Loosing Rudy just put our focus on defense.
  22. There isn't a place for gay or racial slurs in professional sports. He paid his deserved fine, apologized, and moved on. Everyone does it, but the NBA should still deal with it when it is done.
  23. Nice, the year the Grizzlies won't be in the lottery the draft is going to suck. The talent in college basketball next year is going to be absolutely ridiculous.
