  1. Tread Tittle: "What's wrong with Gilbert Arenas?" His response: "He's gay." Can't say I'm going to miss him
  2. I'll give this a listen once I free some space in my iPod. I haven't listened to him much aside from the GOOD Friday releases but I liked what I heard.
  3. I like some of the beats he raps to. He's working with some pretty good producers, but he doesn't even have the ability to stay on beat. He has a cult following mostly through all his social networking.
  4. Odd Future (Tyler the Creator, Earl, etc.) and Lil' B have both gotten a lot of good hype from a lot of Indie websites. There seems to be a lot of good publicity going towards these young, hipster, West coast rappers. I've listened to Odd Future nonstop the past week, and they're loaded with talent. I love some of the dark, in-your-face music they're creating, and Tyler, the Creator is quickly becoming one of my favorite producers. Not a big fan of Lil B; I like some of his works with 9th Wonder, but it has nothing to do with his lyrical ability, it's most for 9th's beats. Diddy recently consigned OFWGKTA and Lil B and called them "the future of hip-hop." Do you guys like this Internet hype surrounding a lot of this new West-Coast Indie rap? Are you a fan of the new music? Thoughts?
  5. There's a difference between being metrosexual and making yourself look presentable. I don't pay for my haircuts and stick with a buzzcut and I don't go around with clothes that brings attention to myself I like my clothes to look nice and clean, but matching and all that isn't my biggest concern. At the same time I don't walk around like a slob that hasn't showered in days.
  6. Bastard - Tyler the Creator Tyler is dope as hell.
  7. You're lying to your self if you're saying you never partially believed them at the time. These comments were mostly directed towards UAB, too.
  8. The people "hate because it's cool" is also the most overused excuse on the Internet. It has nothing to do with me disliking the guy. Dedication 1 and 2 and The Carter 2 are in constant rotation in my iPod. He just hasn't made good music since, and the music he has made is pittful.
  9. 6'7 and A Milli are two of the most annoying beats ever IMO. They were done by the same producers but the name slips my mind
  10. Wayne is just so damn bad now. Maybe saying Lil B is better is an overstatement, but he has fallen off so strongly. In his early career, listeners could at least recognize his talent, but with songs like 6'7 or Fire Flame, I find myself having to turn the song off.
  11. I guess Calipari makes it three vacated Final Fours.
  12. One of the few times I'll root for Carolina in a tournament game, but seeing Calipari cheat his way into a Final Four is something I have to root against.
  13. Over the summer I was pretty angry that we let Rodney Brewer walk and signed Tony Allen instead. Although he sometimes pisses me off because it looks like he's playing like a chicken with its head chopped off, he's had a hell of a season for us. He's our defensive anchor and has scored some big buckets for us this year. He isn't the first option offensively, but his athleticism allows him to have some big nights on both ends of the floor. Most importantly, he has helped change the team's identity to a defensive team. Very pleasantly surprised with the outcome of this signing.
  14. I think he has a really good chance to be a hell of a small forward. He can handle the ball pretty well, good shooter, and can create his own shot starting at the perimeter. He literally made himself a top 5 pick with his tournament performance alone.
  15. Made my college decision, and decided to go to stay home at the University of Memphis. Not my first choice, but I'm glad I can at least go to college cheap
  16. I liked The Carter II and the Dedication series. Since then, he has fallen off.
  17. I think we can all agree that Kansas has had the easiest path to the tournament. I love the Cinderella story behind VCU, but Kansas is playing their best basketball at the right time
  18. I never compared Lil Wayne or Lil B to any half decent rapper out there, but I'm some how not surprised to see who thought I was
  19. I'd rather listen to Lil B over the Lil Wayne we have now. When Lil B takes it seriously he's atleast listenable because he's ateast working with some decent producers. Lil Wayne's new mixtape is one of his worst works ever. I'm not saying Lil B is good lyricist by any means, but Lil Wayne has really fallen off.
  20. The stupid R&B choruses and shitty beats killed L.A.S.E.R.S in my opinion.
  21. I have over 200 Curren$y songs (mixtapes), around 150 Phish songs, 165 Nas songs, well over 100 J Dilla beats, 150 or so of Wiz Khalifa, and next would probably be Widespread Panic with around 100. Yes, I have a lot of music in my iPod.
  22. I've been a monster Eminem supporter ever since I started listening to him and I'll be the first one to tell you that his first three albums are absolute classics, but he's fallen off. His last three albums are bad, and I don't really see him coming back to the Slim Shady LP days.
  23. Fashawn, J. Cole, Kanye, Jay Electronica, Nas, Curren$y
  24. [expletive]ing bullshit. I really think we're a playoff team that can give their first round matchup a run for their money if we have Rudy. I hope we stay in the playoff race, but I think we'll start to calm down as the season come to an end.
