  1. ^they are basically guaranteed a spot in the playoffs though, meaning they can make the Finals. Making the playoffs in the NBA is a lot easier than the NFL and MLB.
  2. The Lakers are notorious for losing to [expletive]ty teams. Have fun predicting the doom of the Lakers though, Cleveland's Finest shall fill you in on the details from his plan.
  3. blizzard expected for the game, lucky you
  4. There was no statement for the Lakers to make. They made the statement in Game 7 against Boston. Sorry, but no one has knocked off the champs yet. Read this: http://espn.go.com/nba/recap?id=291225013 Of course the Lakers showed no emotion. The game meant nothing to them! LeBron has shown over and over again that he shows up in the regular season but not the post season. If the Lakers had won, it wouldn't have meant ANYTHING in the grand scheme of things. Sure the Heat would have more doubters, but the Lakers don't have any more doubters now than they did last month.
  5. The Lakers did play like [expletive], and I am not happy about it. When people talk about a loss for the Heat, they are only doing it for two reasons: 1. They hadn't proven themselves yet 2. It is fun to talk [expletive] about the Heat at the moment I'm telling all the Heat fans, don't take it so personally. Us Lakers fans have put up with it for years(even when our team sucked, people still hated on us ). When people talk [expletive] about your team, it is usually a sign of jealousy(unless your team is REALLY bad, like a last place team). I'll admit, I wanted to see the Heat fail more than anything, which is part of the reason why I hated on them(and still do!). I am sure most people are the same As Artesticle pointed out, this game shows that Miami is a really good team, but it doesn't show anything about the Lakers(if the Lakers continue to struggle against good teams though, it could show something)
  6. How did I miss that post? Hey Heat fans, read this: http://espn.go.com/nba/recap?id=291225013
  7. No they are not. They aren't the champs, they aren't the defending Eastern Conference champs. Quit talking out of your [expletive].
  8. Go talk to Cleveland's Finest. He'll tell you all about winning in the regular season and how important beating the Lakers in LA on Christmas is.
  9. I was hoping it was implied. Losses only matter to teams that aren't established because you never know how good they CAN be. We have seen how good the Heat CAN be, so at this point, a loss doesn't even matter for the Heat in the regular season. You have to realize that a lot of people that were talking [expletive] about the Heat were just saying it because they wanted it to be true. The only team that Miami has looked weak against is Boston. We already know they can dominate LA, Orlando, etc. LA has the same core as the past few years, and we know they can dominate.
  10. The Heat aren't even the best team in the east, by no means will they be the favorites.
  11. losses don't mean anything in the regular season
  12. most obvious facemask ever and no call
  13. Exactly, its December. I don't know why people were so hyped up for this game, the Lakers NEVER deliver before the all star break
  14. It's December, I see no reason for Kobe to not get a rest during the fourth. I was surprised he started the quarter.
  15. he's a dick to Sager too, but Sager is funnier about it since they both know he is joking around
  16. http://i86.photobucket.com/albums/k119/raiderwsu/202210604.jpg
  17. lmao are you even watching the game? Gasol is sucking out there, giving him the ball does more harm than good.
  18. Lakers not showing up in a regular season game? Call me shocked!
  19. the Lakers aren't playing well? News to me
