9/11 Responders bill defeated by Senate GOP Fillibuster
Lkr replied to JYD's topic in Off-Topic Discussion Forum
I forgot who it was, but one of the GOP senators called the police to get them away from the capitol -
only illegals would apply for citizenship, because you are illegal by not being a citizen. most of the people this applies to are people that were forced into coming to the US at a young age. They had no choice, so it should be held against them? I'm glad people like you get to vote, you show why this country has gone to the dogs.
-
yes, this is fantastic! lets not give citizenship to anyone!

so Wade gets to the line on a touch like always, and then Hinrich doesn't get a call

So yeah, apparently a new ABA was formed back in 2000. Jacksonville has a team this year, and I won tickets for tomorrow night's game. It starts at 5, so at least I'll get to see the Packers lose still -_-

so I guess the good news is that NE can't properly gameplan for Flynn?

Orlando lands Agent Zero, J-Rich, and Hedo
Lkr replied to ChosenOne's topic in Orlando Magic Team Forum
one bad contract for another? ESPN reporting that its a done deal that the Magic have acquired Hedo, Jason Richardson, and Arenas. I'm not sure how much better this will make them, but I think Hedo + JRich for Wince/Pietrus/Gortat is a good move. Rashard has been playing terrible for a while, and if Arenas becomes the starting point guard in Orlando, he can become very dangerous again. Jameer Nelson will be a very good backup PG and very good as a possible trade piece. Dwight also has no backup now... -

Sexy Rexy. This is a bat[expletive] stupid gameplan. Shanahan is a dip[expletive], and this proves it. It isn't McNabb's fault that Gano doesn't show up.

the Bears play a cover 2, which is very easy to obliterate with a passing attack like the Pats have the Pats have ALWAYS dominated Pittsburgh's defense. It is based 100% on blitzing(so is the Packers 3-4 scheme, but I have more faith because the Packers play a lot of nickel at times), and it leaves holes in the secondary for Brady to exploit. I am not surprised that the Patriots were able to torch the Jets.

Yao done for the year, maybe for good?
Lkr replied to Real Deal's topic in Houston Rockets Team Forum
With all of his injury problems, I would be damned if he hadn't hired someone to help him with his nutrition. Sad to see that this may be the end -
really looking like Flynn will get the start this weekend. I was really worried at first, but I have complete confidence in him. As long as the Packers can execute a short-medium range passing attack, then the game can be winnable. Our defense has been outstanding this season despite injuries, and if our secondary is physical and we can get pressure on Brady, it could be a great stand against the best team in the league. Branch might not play for the Pats, so that helps GB's cause. Flynn was an interesting player in college, and I'm hoping he'll step up big in the NFL this weekend like he did for LSU back in 07.

How else do you wash it? :glasses:
