  1. Peyton Manning is the man. lol @ Belicheck going for it on 4th on his own 30. Owned.
  2. I see no way this is a blessing in disguise unless these next extra losses in the next 2 months add up to a better draft pick that turns out to be amazing. Speights has been the best player other than Iguodala this year. The best frontcourt has been when him and Brand are out there together anyway.
  3. And now time to break out the Romo pictureshttp://a.espncdn.com/media/apphoto/dc2e90be-68c7-4cda-946b-ecafd3a8c1ee.jpg http://a.espncdn.com/media/apphoto/dab8fc30-6084-41d2-b2c2-3d10152ba4d1.jpg What's the matter Romo, it inst December yet.
  4. Westbrook is done. He was injury prone in his prime, but this is just ridiculous. McCoy will be the featured back for the rest of the season. Honestly I wouldn't be surprised to see Westbrook retire after this year. Smart move by the Eagles not giving him that extension earlier in the year. And the D just looks bad right now. The Linebacker's are a mess and the secondary has been heavily injured. No Hanson, Hobbs, and tonight even Sheldon had to leave the game. He will be back though because he is not a [expletive]. Injuries are hitting the Eagles defense hard right now and a bye week would be nice.
  5. Nice spelling of Speights. At least now that retarded coach will be forced to play Elton Brand in the 4th quarter so we can see how he plays for an entire game.
  6. Duncan because he is the greatest power forward of all-time.
  7. Brand played really well in the first half. I can't believe Eddie Jordan had the balls to bench him again for the 4th quarter. He was a vital piece to the Sixers solid play in the first half. Eddie Jordan [expletive]ing sucks. Fire that [expletive]
  8. Eddie Jordan is offically a joke And Speights has been the lone bright spot this year, but his poor defense was shown tonight as Boozer completely abused him. On the other side of the ball Boozer shut him down as well. Boozer owned Speights and I am pissed Speights didn't get in his face. (If he did excuse me, but I was one of 12 people in the upper deck tonight). Elton Brand has become Chris Webber part two, except with slightly better defense. He might even be worse offensively. All he does is stand on the three point line which is a spot where he is absolutely useless. And that Maynor guy taken after the Sixers this year raped them too. What a disgraceful game and I can't believe I paid money to see that bull. I don't know what Eddie Jordan does in practace, but this team is an absolute mess defensively compared to the past few years. They lost that underdog attitude and fiestiness that they played with and these overpaid bums like Brand need to go. I fail to see this "Princeton Offense" being applied too. Looks like the same bs half court game that doesn't work as the past few years.
  9. The only way this game could be any better was if JR Smith made a shot and did this again. http://faketalk.files.wordpress.com/2009/05/ept_sports_nba_experts-26741987-1243364000.jpg
  10. This is turning into a complete joke. All he does is stand out near the three point line where he can't do anything at all. This takes away one of his greatest strengths in offensive rebounding where he looked impressive last year. Also I'd like to see him actually post up on offense and have the other Sixers make an effort to get him the ball in that position. I'm tired of him doing absolutely nothing rebounding or playing like a big man. It's a joke. Eddie Jordan needs to realize this dude isn't Antawn Jamison.
  11. Yeah I agree about doubling LeBron. Dorrell and Q-Rich don't have a chance against him. The 3 spot is kind of a weak point defensively seeing as how their going to be seeing guys like Paul Pierce, Vince Carter on top of LeBron if they want to do some damage. The double is necessary I would keep the starting line-up though. It's been pretty good so far this season and the losses came against Cleveland and Phoenix which are two very talented teams. And I don't see the Dorrel Wright attractiveness that other Heat fans on this site seem to see. He has no shot whatsoever and he isn't as good on D as people on him attribute him to be. Q-Rich is playing like an overall better player right now.
  12. Retiring #23 around the league is dumb. Unlike hockey you can actually make cases for other guy's being the best baketball player of all-time. Wilt, Kareem, Magic, Larry. All these guys did so much for the league and you could make a case they were better than Michael. It's just dumb.
  13. Eddie Jordan is doing a bad job of giving Brand the ball deep in the post. Most of Brand's touches are coming out near the three point line where he is not a threat at all. That needs to change and Eddie Jordan needs to make some adjustments. It doesn't help that Speights is outplaying him as well and getting most of the 4th quarter minutes. I wouldn't say it's officially a failure yet, but it's close.
  14. No. Stefanski has done a great job as GM IMO. Honestly can someone tell me a move that is realistic that he hasn't done? He doesn't exactly have the best situation to work with. He wooed Elton Brand who looked to be a great fit for the team. And yes everyone saw it as an amazing move and it was at the time. Noone knew he would be this ineffective. He made some nifty trades such as getting the shooter they desperately need in Kapono. He drafted a total stud in Speights and we could have another in Holiday(too early to judge him though). At the time I absolutely loved every move he made and I cannot fault him for anything he did such as the Brand over J.Smith choice. Brand was the much more attractive piece at the time. The Sixers are just stuck in basketball purgatory and none of it is Stefanski's fault. This team is still suffering from moves Billy King made as GM such as the Dalembert contract.
  15. No.. Iverson is basically Lou Williams except he's old, less effective at this point, and has no future with the team. Getting Iverson back wouldn't even help sell more tickets since it would be a huge joke. Iverson is useless unless he is dominating the ball which means Iggy goes back to being an average offensive player, even less touches for Brand/Speights/Thad. Just no.
  16. Trevor Ariza as of now. You could make a case for a bunch of guys on that Houston team stepping it up big time. We saw these guy's step up in the LA series when Yao went down and now we're going to see it for an entire season. And Chuck Hayes is a beast on defense. One of the best defensive players in the league. Brooks is keeping up his play from the LA series too up this year which is another good sign. You could also make a case for Bynum at this point, but he will get hurt again like he does every year and his production will go back to typical Andrew Bynum mode when Gasol comes back.
  17. Pretty good game. Unfortunately Miami wasn't able to stop Cleveland on some crucial drives at the end of the game. Without Wade though the Heat still do not function. The beginning of the 4th quarter was absolutely pathetic. Wade makes the team go. It was an impressive showing by the team though as they hung with a good Cavs team that is finding itself. The Heat should still win close to 50 games. I like what I saw.
  18. Damn I am going to have to miss the first half of this one. Really looking forward to this game. I think the Heat will sneak out with the victory in this game. Their going to make Cleveland's slow frontcourt work hard.
  19. http://money.cnn.com/2009/04/28/real_estate/most_polluted_cities/index.htm Every list I look at LA is BY FAR the worst polluted in terms of the air(or ozone). Every other type of pollution LA is in the top 10 as well. LA is an absolute mess and I would make sure I wore a gas mask if I ever had to go there. Overall it and Pittsburgh are the worst polluted area's in the country.
  20. Hey Dwight Coward how does that steamrolling taste? Ladies and gentleman, this is a classic example of the term "baiting". As you can see, his post has absolutely no discussion value, and its only intent is to get a rise out of fans. Diesel, it stops right now. I made an example of your post, you would be wise to follow my advice. If you re-edit this post in any way, I'll suspend you for 30 days. Don't touch it, don't delete. I'm going to make an example of you, so others would be smart not to follow in your footsteps. It ends here. -Kairu
  21. Yeah there should otherwise we'd see people getting mauled countless amount of times. It really shouldn't be a problem except when refs treat the bigs unfairly giving them the most [expletive] fouls. It started happening with Shaq in Miami and it happens with Yao/Dwight too. They get the lamest fouls just because their so big. While guys like Kobe do crap that's way worse and don't get called for anything.
  22. Yeah when I saw the Spurs game Tim Duncan looked REALLLY thin. I don't really get why, but yeah.
  23. I will use the site that your bs site used as a source(Forbes Magazine) and show what it really says coming from Forbes site itself. http://www.forbes.com/2009/04/28/pollution-ozone-air-lifestyle-health-ozone-pollution.html Don't be mad just because you can't breath properly with all of the smog in LA. Worse in the country. There's a reason LA smog jokes are a common occurrence. Nice try bringing Philadelphia into this topic(a topic where Philadelphia is not involved) and trying to rattle my bonds. Too bad that isn't true.
