Temping is by far the worst possible thing you can do. You are getting paid minimum wage while the temp agency makes nearly that amount off you by answering a phone call and then calling the worker. I've never been more disrespected or put in more uncomfortable work situations than I did with temping and to top it all off, I got injured after working a full year and received less than $100 in medical and soon there after had to go on social assistance. It's great if you are in dire need of money or absolutely cannot find a job but it is demoralizing and had two guys I work with commit suicide just over the stress of the situation. It could be completely different in the States but I know there was a Manpower downtown here.

Her car is completely totaled and mine had to be taken to the shop where I pray they don't have it as a write-off. She was charged with reckless driving but her car value is $20,000 while mine comes in at $2,000 so I'd get shit all if they can't fix it. Drive safe boys!

Nets aren't going to be the Miami Heat but they'll definitely be better than the 22 win season. They kept the good players from last season and upgraded HUGELY over the D-League talent they brought up last year (most D-League players brought up in entire NBA). I expect playoffs even if it's the 8th seed.

You see on the news when someone gets shot or in an accident they say he's in a better place but he isn't, his life is complete. What irks me the most is to see athletes like James "thank goo" or "am so blessed" when it has to do with genetics, training and a little luck.

This is why I don't understand suicide bombers but I assume that has to do with brainwashing and other stuff but like many people here said, you just gotta live your life. Great decision by the Knicks IMO. I don't see Lin exploding to make them regret the decision. Also not saying he's going to be terrible but such a short sample size and a lot of the hype is because of his heritage which is no surprise why Houston wanted him. Funny thing is Yao Ming tried to sign him and failed, now he's the new Yao in Houston.

The funniest (not so funny for victims) is that the people shooting each other have so much in common yet they get into beefs and kill each other in horrible fashion. The worst part for everyone is the fact the Ontario government is looking to close down jails so that these people who go through the system for minor offenses won't end up in jail, yet can't find jobs which equals gang violence.
