Lost another D-man in Hamilton after he got crushed head first into the boards. The positive about it was the way his teammates stuck up for him after the hit which is hard to come by in Montreal. You could see Fitzy watching the replay from the penalty box and as soon as the hit happened on the big screen, he almost jumped out of the box to get him before he was escorted out. In for a very long season.

This is great. A guy who leaves a market like Orlando for LA is dissing the Nets for leaving Newark yet if Shaq would have signed with this team rather than letting the small market team hit the bottom, then you wouldn't have to be talking about replacing the team in NJ. Add that to the fact that the one chance they had to stay in New Jersey by winning a championship, Shaq crushed us in the West and then came over and crushed us in the East. Pretty funny.

Sadly, I'd do that trade over again in a heart beat. He's a huge bum on the ice but what he brought in was some of the most exciting hockey I've seen in years from the Canadiens. Lundqvist was a beast last night. If Rangers can play that well defensively the entire year, they will be golden.

I'd like to know how much they made just in merch since they started selling it. Every game is just packed with everyone at least wearing the new logo on a tshirt or something.

I also didn't understand why RNH would be taken over an obvious glaring hole for the Edmonton Oilers but the dude is pure talent. Not a fan and really don't care how he turns out (other than maybe Team Canada) but I can't deny how good he is. Like I said above, the hype was died down with the Oilers having the first pick for the second time in two years and I believe their team made a great decision. Best overall player with the first pick and then filled the holes perfectly with Klefbom and Musil later on. Again ECN, I'm not arguing whose more hype but I'd sure like to see those reports unless you were lying?

He then went and almost doubled his point total while the top ranked Couturier stayed around the same. I've read scouting reports saying his vision was comparable to a young #99 but haven't seen one stating he's the worst number one since Erik but of course that could be made up until I see what ECN was reading. If anything, his hype was died down due to the fact Oilers were drafting for the second time at number one.
