I haven't seen a whole lot of him other than for the U-18's but he reminds me of a bigger Ryan Ellis which isn't bad at all. My sisters boyfriend also grew up in the same city as him and he says he's really down to earth...which is often very rare in Junior hockey. Heck Taylor Hall was at someones party and did his signature in ketchup and told the people not to clean it because it was gonna be worth tons haha.

I can't watch the NHL awards because they manage to find the least entertaining people and make them hosts....some twice.

I think it may be different with players who still are under a rookie contracts but not sure.

If he is even half the player he was before, he is still miles better than Subban.

I think the best outcome for the Flyers would be him going back to the KHL. You keep his rights and he develops instead of just giving him away for low end prospects and 4th-5th round draft picks. If there's a great package deal though including him, then it also isn't as bad but he's shown he can be an NHL starting goaltender so it would be great to keep in the system. Edit: Didn't realize the Bryz deal might be seven years cause then it really doesn't matter.

Why trade Sergei Bobrovsky? Is there a chance he might go back to Russia if not starting?

Hoping for a draft day trade or trades. I don't mind grabbing one rookie but if we are aiming to be winners, having three rookies on the squad isn't always the best root. Also, we now have a D-League team that we can stock some undrafted talent in and hope for them to grow.
