Today's game is case in point. Maybe since it's on national TV, folks will actually notice. Horrendous turnovers, old defense playing old, losing puck battles, just not giving a shit in general. Not the goalies at all.

I saw The Adjustment Bureau last night. I am going to give it a 5/10, and that may be generous (keep in mind I am a very tough grader). I had high hopes and thought it had a fantastic premise, but they did not push the envelope far enough IMO. It was very bland and predictable. My friends that saw it with me thought it was awful (one friend, a movie guru, said it is the worst movie he has ever seen in theaters), and while I won't go that far, it definitely was a major disappointment.

I am sick of the national media clowns like Mike Milbury saying "the Flyers need to solidify their goaltending blah blah blah". Such a cheap way to get an article written or a piece for TV done. "Well it's the Flyers and they are struggling, must be the goaltending!". Anybody who has watched this team since the all star break knows that goaltending is about as far down the list of problems as anything. This defense would make Dominik Hasek look bad right now.

Dom Brown has a broken hand. First the Flyers, now this. How the hell can today get any worse?

Yesssss, FINALLY, the 12 forwards I want active are active. AKA Zherdev is playing on the 3rd line, Nodl on the 4th line, and no Carcillo/Shelley.

Thanks. I am pretty excited about Akeson. If either of these guys turn out anything like our big rookie FA signing last year (Bobs), I will be quite thrilled. Of course, signing kids from Russia is a bit different than Canada, but yeah.

Well, baseball/the Phillies are my biggest passion, so I'd love it.

Um. Do I care enough about baseball? You haven't seen me post much have you? Lolz. Actually it is just a 17 game ticket plan (I usually wind up at 25ish games total).

I guess. It just seems like an act to me. Hope I am wrong.

Because it forces people to A) know their stuff and B) keep up with it. It is possible to coast and still win in, say, an 8 or 10 team league with a full MLB player universe. With NL only, you essentially have half of the normal amount of players available, so you really need to look far down on depth charts to fill out your roster and constantly make moves, especially in a 12 team league. Extra strategy, it's fun.
