  1. An Army-Notre Dame football game has been scheduled for November 20, 2010 at Yankee Stadium.
  2. He's comparing KZ2 and Halo, not LBP and Halo. And you clearly don't know much about LittleBigPlanet if you think it's a game for 12-year olds.
  3. We're once again a game back of Boston. David Hernandez (2-2, 3.94) vs. Andy Pettitte (8-5, 4.85) Rich Hill (3-2, 2.22) vs. Sergio Mitre (season debut) Jason Berken (1-7, 6.44) vs. A.J. Burnett (8-4, 3.81)
  4. Pitching was nothing less than great this series. A total of 5 runs allowed in three games. The bullpen has been on fire, and it's been great seeing Phil Hughes attack the strike zone. His six K's for six outs performance on Friday was impressive. It was also nice to see A-Rod and Teixeira homer twice each in the series. A-Rod bounced back well after having a rough game Friday. Teixeira loves that second deck in right field.
  5. Well, why would they just give up on Yi when they saw how well he played before his injury? He's been working hard this summer as well. And if they won't get Boozer as you claim, it wouldn't make sense to give up on the PF they have.
  6. What? Killzone 2 itself is very similar to Halo 3.
  7. Well they kicked off the second half today with a 5-3 win, the eighth straight year they win the first game after the All-Star break. The record is nine straight years set by the Expos. Two more games against Detroit, tomorrow at 1:05 and the Sunday at 2:05 because of Old Timers' Day. There's an exciting pitching matchup tomorrow: CC vs. Verlander.
  8. Killzone series? Resistance series? LittleBigPlanet? MLB the Show series? Gran Turismo? Uncharted: Drake's Fortune? There's quite a few, actually, along with the games that both systems have.
  9. I meant that that's how much the Jays would want if they were to trade within the division according to rumors. I don't see any reason for Cashman to go with that, though.
  10. All though we felt his absence, I think it gave Coke a bigger role and he improved significantly. Now we'll have two left specialists available.
  11. Phil Hughes, Joba, Austin Jackson, and possibly more.
  12. I would need to take a good look at all the names before choosing a side, but don't forget Carlos Delgado.
  13. Make it 12-0-1 in the last 13 seasons. It was cool to see Obama up in the booth with Buck and McCarver for a half inning. I hope Jeter's wrist is fine. Good to see him score 2 runs. Pujols fielding was great. He saved the NL from a run or two after his error that allowed a run in the first inning. And Mo sets a record 4 All-Star game saves. He pitched his eighth inning All-Star baseball.
  14. The first two pitches gave a scare. The first batter (I don't remember who it was) was robbed of a HR. The second hit it to the track.
  15. Shelley Duncan was runner-up in Triple-A Derby yesterday.
  16. 80th All-Star Game 8:00 PM EST Starters: Roy Halladay (Tor) vs. Tim Lincecum (SF) American League Lineup: Ichiro Suzuki, RF Derek Jeter, SS Joe Mauer, C Mark Teixeira, 1B Jason Bay, LF Josh Hamilton, CF Evan Longoria, 3B Aaron Hill, 2B Roy Halladay, P National League Lineup: Hanley Ramirez, SS Chase Utley, 2B Albert Pujols, 1B Ryan Braun, RF Raul Ibanez, LF David Wright, 3B Shane Victorino, CF Yadier Molina, C Tim Lincecum, P Managers: Joe Maddon (TB), Charlie Manuel (Phi)

  18. Bandwagon fans can turn into true fans for any team.
  19. So now we have two things to overcome, our struggles against the Red Sox and our struggles against the Angels in Anaheim.
  20. Carlos Pena (TB) Brandon Inge (Det) Nelson Cruz (Tex) Joe Mauer (Min) Albert Pujols (StL) Adrian Gonzalez (SD) Prince Fielder (Mil) Ryan Howard (Phi)
  21. We have a tough schedule after the break. Obviously we played poorly to cap off the first half, but hopefully we can get some rest and get it back together.
  22. No way we give up Joba AND Phil + a minor leaguer.
  23. We're paying Tex and A-Rod to deliver in situations such as bases loaded no one out and they don't do it. You'd never guess that the Angels had injuries. We got swept in L.A. last year also. Shame.
  24. CC has the job of stopping a sweep, just like he did in Boston. He almost did the job in Boston with 8 innings pitched and 3 runs surrendered, but it turned into a ND. Congrats to A-Rod on passing Palmeiro for 10th all-time with 569 career homeruns. We had five HR's yesterday, but it's a shame that 4 were only solo. Is this the Hinske we'll be seeing consistently or is this just a hot start?
