  1. Ammo! Thunder are 2-0, Nets 1-0 in OT this season. We have won three straight games at home.
  2. Every team has a set of word clouds organized by the minutes each of the players on their all-time roster logged for the club. Link
  3. Fifteen minutes into the game, the only active player that hasn't stepped onto the court is Ross.
  4. Humphries with seven boards in the first quarter. No turnovers, only one offensive board allowed, and a 16-4 run to cap off the quarter.
  5. Harris and Durant both have sprained left knees. Devin is scheduled to miss Friday's game as well.
  6. Cousins hasn't exactly made the Nets regret passing on him. Too early to tell, of course, but just pointing out that since he made those comments about Jersey, he's gotten into trouble twice and didn't exactly go at our necks in either of the two Nets-Kings meetings.
  7. People refuse to call this a rivalry, considering both teams' recent histories. But with the youth that both squads have been showcasing and with each club's aims down the road, this matchup might bring a feeling we haven't felt in maybe five or six years. Not to mention, both teams have fired more shots at each other than usual.
  8. Troy played almost ten minutes today and hit both of his shot attempts. I assume Avery will increase his minutes game by game and keep an eye on his progress.
  9. Vazquez is back in the NL East, Marlins have Johnson, Nolasco, and Javi as their top three, and if it ends up not working out, it's only a one-year contract.
  10. Biedrins is 2 points short of a 30-20 game, 13-15 from the field. Incredible offensive game. 5 players with 20+ points.
  11. Well at least he has room to develop on the court, so his time in the D-League can turn out beneficial in terms of his game at the same time. Reportedly, T-Will's suspension was a result of him being late to practices, shootarounds, and a team plane. Hoping everything goes smoothly. It's a shame how the last D-League designation due to trouble-making turned out.
  12. The two teams were a combined 49-53 from the stripe tonight.
  13. The BC has gone vertical. http://assets.sbnation.com/assets/492348/_AVP2638.jpg
  14. Only 34 points in the second half for Detroit. 21 and 14 for Randolph, 17 and 6 for Gay, 10 and 6 for Gasol.
  15. Overall, the first half went our way. We scored 12 unanswered points from the first quarter into the second. Allen and Pierce were silent along with most of the Boston squad. Robinson hit foul trouble, and West was playing well before the injury. We went into halftime up eight. In the third quarter, Boston's shooters were still cold at first. That gave us a huge break. We had nine turnovers in the third and were playing unacceptable basketball. We started to bend but had not broken. The crowd began to get into the action in the fourth quarter. We eventually broke. Shaq was muscling out Lopez down low for boards, and for some time, the fouling of Shaq didn't translate to missed FT's. Pierce got his shot back and later connected with a wide open Allen for three (Morrow hardly had his attention on him, it seemed). Boston took a nine-point lead with just over two minutes left. Harris hit a three and a two to bring it close before Nate hit a three. We almost whispered back in the final seconds, but that was the game. The one thing you have to like about this is that Avery doesn't let his players go away quietly.
  16. He closed out the first half on a high note in this Maui Invitational game. Back-to-back threes and a sweet assist as apart of a 13-0 UConn run in the final minutes of the half. Seems like a fiery, competitive player.
  17. Rough third quarter for the second straight day, except this time, it was unacceptable how many times we turned the ball over. Way too many deflections and passes picked off.
  18. Broken right wrist for West. Nate with four fouls.
  19. Delonte West was in clear agony before he exited the court. Celtics were without a true PG for the remainder of the half since Nate had 3 fouls. Props to a number of guys on our squad. Petro made all three jumpers he attempted from the same spot as apart of a 12-0 run from the first quarter into the second. Morrow hasn't missed yet from the field.
  20. 1) How would you say Byron Scott has done in coaching the team following the big hit to the city? 2) Got tickets for December 2? Where are your seats? 3) Bringing a poster to that game? 4) Best Cavs game you've ever seen in person? 5) What happened to the baseball spirit in Cleveland? 6) How do you expect Cavs fans to welcome back Big Z? 7) What would be your opinion of Bron had he signed with Miami in a quieter fashion and without making the basketball world wait a full week? 8) Any Cavs you expect to be traded before this year's deadline? 9) In what sport do you most want Cleveland to win a championship? 10) Out of these Cavs jerseys, which set is your favorite? Also, is the '03-'10 set no more?
  21. Wow, all 50 states favored predicting the Magic winning this game on the ESPN poll.
  22. Maybe he looks more intimidating now.
  23. Someone put up a Duke - K-State game thread.

  24. Haha, Philly visited Washington on November 2 and lost 116-115 in OT, and today, they go to D.C. and lose 116-114 in OT.
  25. Speculation that it had something to do with Twitter. He got into some trouble last year because of comments he made on Twitter while he was putting up poor performances on the court. Ever since he picked it up, there weren't really any problems (that were made public, at least) up to this point. This is one of the first signs we see of Johnson's no-nonsense policy.
