I didn't see a Jay-Z banner on the Nets forum coming . Amazing job.

FIFA 10's price gets raised to $100, do you still buy it? Who would you let go of first, Brooks or Wafer? Are Rocket fans dedicated enough? Which team do you have greater hate for, the Mavs or Spurs? Still an Artest fan?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xLztWGpswPY Post Workout Interviews Terrence Williams Interview Jarvis Hayes Interview Devin Harris Interview Courtney Lee Interview Brook Lopez Interview

Lopez has been watching Duncan, whose style is similar to Brook's in the aspect of playing in the paint as well as near the arc. He's been watching Gasol, who just won a championship. And now, he can be working with a former star that won two NBA championships and an MVP. It's great to see the support Brook has had from Frank this offseason and from Doug Overton during the course of the year.

Teixeira passes the 100 RBI mark with 4 RBI's today. What a season he's having. Sixth straight year with 30 and 100. I loved how they showed his eyes opening up wide as the pitch came and he hit the home run. And Jeter is 11 hits away from tying Gehrig as the all-time Yankees hits leader. Back on the road we go.

Ron visits one of my mods from TLN
Teletopez replied to Real Deal's topic in Los Angeles Lakers Team Forum
I'm sure there's a lot of spare time in a four-month offseason, as shown by Ron getting bored and buying a second phone to talk to fans. -
But again, you're bringing it back to numbers. It's not about how much you average or what responsibility you have. That only shows your ability to an extent, but if you have ratings like Erick's number-space rebounding, you don't have to refer back to misleading averages and what could have been if you had such and such role.

Bobby Simmons with his inability to pass rather than shoot, and the fact that he started over Jarvis Hayes last year and rarely proved anything. I remember he ruined any chances we had of winning late in back to back games. Unless his shot selection has really changed, and I haven't heard anything of him spending a lot of time in the gym, Frank better be smart enough not to start him.

Is Gordon Beckham in a slump? When the Yanks were in Chicago, his average was around .305, and yesterday I saw it was around .282. Edit: 5 for his last 38.

Maybe we should have just kept Josh Towers. But I guess I'd be willing to give Penny a shot because Mitre's sinker is rarely effective.

Lee Wants To Fill Orlando With Regret
Teletopez replied to Kobe824's topic in Brooklyn Nets Team Forum
I actually have a bad feeling Ryan's going to come off the bench and rain on us. He might just knock down five 3's or posterize someone. -
Lee Wants To Fill Orlando With Regret
Teletopez replied to Kobe824's topic in Brooklyn Nets Team Forum
Well he didn't exactly say anything. We heard Dwight speaking for him twice. The only time we heard him was when he met the media after being traded, and he just basically said he was shocked that the trade happened. -

Bump. I know the season hasn't started yet but there's a lot of videos coming out on the NBA website and elsewhere. Post your requests whenever something catches your eye. -
Nets' Courtney Lee not happy to be in New Jersey

You can take the "not" out of the thread title. Hoops World -
Okay? My point is that it seems every time there's a bid broken, at least one of those thing occur.
-
I've talked about this a couple times before, and at least one of these trends usually occurs when a no-hitter or perfect game is broken. It's happened time and time again. 1) It's broken to lead off an inning. 2) It's broken with a home run. 3) The pitcher is shaky after the no hitter or perfect game is broken. Today, AJ Burnett's perfect game was broken by a walk, and two batters later, he had given up 3 runs (trend 3). The no hitter was broken by a 3-run HR from Ian Kinsler (trend 1). I've noticed these trends because of the number of potential no hitters and perfect games the Yanks have had going. Wang had two perfect games broken up by home runs, one against Seattle and one in Boston. Burnett had a bumpy outing after giving up his first hit, hit by the innings first batter, against Tampa Bay in April. Then at Citi Field, his no-hitter was broken by Cora to start the inning. Sabathia had a no-hitter going at Citi, and a Sheffield homer broke it to start the inning. If you look at Buerhle's no hitter, it would have been broken by a HR had the OF not made the leaping catch. There have been several other instances, but I can't remember exactly what happened. But if there's ever a no-no bid going, you can come back to this thread.

"Ball Don't Lie" thinks so. Link It's pretty clear what Yi is all about? Is this writer even aware of what Yi's been up to this offseason, and is he aware of the numbers he put up before the injury? Also, here's one of Terrence Williams' latest Twitter posts.

Maybe the Yanks should have let Texas sweep them so Boston couldn't gain on them in the WC.

Who has been the biggest loser this decade?
Teletopez replied to Revis Island's topic in General NBA Discussion
I disagree. No doubt VC didn't play up to his money, but if we're talking about the decade, then I don't see his name being brought up. Six playoff years, three into the second round. He played through leg problems, and was never out for an extended period of time. Yes, he rarely drived in the last three years, but he contributed plenty from the outside. He led us to quite a comeback in 04-05 when we caught the eighth seed. He averaged 27.5 with us that year. He powered us to the third seed the next year. Despite the lack of success in 07-08, he was one of three players to average 20, 5, and 5. The other two were Bryant and McGrady. We did want a lot more from him, but what he did for us in his first three years was significant, and I don't know if his name fits in in a discussion of the biggest loser of the decade. http://i26.tinypic.com/o58bi0.jpg -
Share your opinions. Should both leagues have pitchers bat or should both use DHs and not have pitchers come up to the plate? Or should both leagues keep their own rules? Vote and discuss.
