Must win. Having Scola back will definitely be a boost.

Resign with Rockets with a cheaper deal. That is the plan apparently.

That happened to me.

Larry Brown wants to coach in NCAA again
Dash replied to AboveLegit's topic in General NCAA Discussion
I don't think many NBA teams want him so going back down to college basketball makes sense but at 70 years old, I think it would time to retire. His defensive schemes would work marvelously in the NCAA though. -
So he should only be suspended if the player he attacked was actually hurt? The way Bynum hit him could have only meant to harm him and it shouldn't take Beasley landing in a more awkward position and being out for the season for Bynum to receive punishment. If Bynum is playing so aggressive that he a danger to the safety of the players around him then he should be harshly punished. If it was up to me, I would have suspended for more than just 2 games. This isn't the first time he's done this.

http://munrobooks.com/assets/productImages/9780553573398.jpg 8/10 The book is a drag early on but the last 150 were so good that I couldn't help but give it a positive rating. What I loved about it was that it was so dark and the main character was the furthest thing from a Gary Stu although it got kind of depressing when Hobb kept emphasizing how crappy the MC's life was. Still a good book and I think I'll head to Borders today and pick the second book.

Spurs win. Steve Novak leads the way with 19 points!

Memphis blew them out.

That doesn't excuse the subpar coaching job he's done this season.

David West is FAR from crap.

The free agency class doesn't have any obtainable All-Stars but there are plenty of starting quality players that would do well next to a star like Deron, and maybe get the Nets into the playoffs.

Thank GOD I didn't fall for the Pitt hype. This loss only paves the way for Wisconsin.

Cavs considering 'rich man' rebuild
Dash replied to The Truth's topic in Cleveland Cavaliers Team Forum
Yes blame the writer. -_- -
I'm not so sure about bringing in a rookie coach when the expectations are to win a championships. Wasn't it just a few years ago that Kurt Rambis was Phil's top assistant? Now he's looking like nothing more than an average head coach at best.
-
I thought Phil has made it clear that he won't be coaching next season. I think Shaw deserves a chance to prove himself but not with a championship contender like the Lakers, they will need a veteran coach with the track record.

http://espn.go.com/nba/dailydime/_/page/dime-110318-20/nba-coaching-carousel Not so sure about this fit, Jeff is brilliant defensively but he's so plain on the end that he's going to at least need an offensive coordinator (Brian Shaw?) but even then I still don't know if JVG and Kobe would work out. The pool is so empty of experience coaches that Van Gundy would likely be one of the better candidates to replace Phil. Thoughts?

Cavs considering 'rich man' rebuild

omg :wallbash3: -
Agreed. It would be huge for the franchise if we could force a 6 game series (at least) with the Spurs. For one our young squad gains invaluable experience up against arguably the best team in the league, and free agents and players looking to move via trade will view Houston as a stronger destination (not by much though), and best of all it gives the players and the fans hope for a better season next year. All of this easily beats picking 2-4 spots higher in a weak draft. While we have been playing MUCH better since the trades, its playoff time where I'm going to miss a true leader like Shane Battier. I hope Chuck and Scola are able to provide some of that leadership.

Did you even read the article? They're trading expirings or cap space for Hamilton AND picks. -

What is so bad about that? Taking on Rip's contract for Pistons picks would be a good move.
