Skip is a genius. The Celtics were struggling last season too no? I don't know if you noticed but Perkins has played maybe a few weeks of basketball with the Celtics at most, and they have still been the top team (record wise) in the East for most of the season.

I agree with him. Bulls have been tremendous and there is no doubt that they could stay toe to toe with the Celtics in a 7 game series, but in end the I don't see them coming out on top. The Miami Heat still lack an identity and in the playoffs that is going to kill them. I wouldn't even worry about the Magic, they could make the Celtics sweat but nothing more than that. However, if they do come out of the Eat it won't be 'easily' done.

Why do I feel like he's only saying that because they're the only team that will start him? Its like you said though, if he doesn't resign to a cheap contract and is willing to play in a reduced role then its better to part ways.
