First quarter was all Lowry and Bud. We got a comfy lead, lets hope we hold onto it. On a side note: good lord Humphries is a monster on the boards, 9 rebounds already.

Lol every game from here on out is a must win but you're right, its practically over if we lose this somehow.

Morey Looking For Star, Owner Prefers Status Quo
Dash replied to htown11's topic in Houston Rockets Team Forum
I can see the fascination with the team with young guns like Courtney Lee, Patrick Patterson and company, our play since the trade deadline has been spectacular but he shouldn't let a portion of the season influence his decisions so much. Fact of the matter is that we're still a mediocre-average team and we won't get past that until we pick a direction whether its to rebuild or compete. Rebuilding would kinder to Les' pockets for the time being though. That said, while we do have the assets to land us a star I think another team is going beat us to punch again. 2011-2012 will be all Chris Paul in terms of news and rumors and drama go. I'd be content with a Danny Granger. -
True enough but if there is anything I've learned from watching the WWE in the recent years is that I should never get my hopes up. This is still a PG show and Cena is still the top seller in merchandise, I don't see that changing unless Rock makes a permanent return to the ring. T

I don't see the WWE turning Cena heel, remember Survivor Series? Then again pretty much every fan over the age of 15 has practically turned on Cena.
-
How the hell is Cena still a face after that?
-
[expletive] you Cena.

To be blunt, he just sucks now. He hasn't been the same since that injury a few years ago and for some reason he has become worse over time even with a superstar center to work with.
-
Got to give the Lakers credit, at the All-Star break they were battling the Thunder for the 3rd seed and now they could potentially (although its unlikely) grab the top seed. Even if they don't finish on top they are still the the team to beat in the West.
-
Yep, he's schedule to appear live but not sure if he will wrestle.

In all honesty I think Swish well on his way to becoming a decent poster. Like Yugo said, Swish doesn't have a great understanding of the English language (at least when he's typing) and that has been his achilles heel as far as posting goes. Instead of attacking him it would be nice if some of the veteran posters around here would tolerate or even help out the new blood. I seriously doubt every single one of us made all these amazing posts and whatnot when you started out. I know I didn't when I was around Swish's age.

Lol we all knew I was going to get grumpy eventually. We need to go AT LEAST 7-2 to make the playoffs, 8-1 if we want to secure a spot. The fact that the Rockets stuck with the Heat on the road is a positive sign, if anything this loss makes the Clippers and Suns losses sting so much more.

Martin airballed a crucial 10 foot floater with 30 seconds left. I no longer believe.
-
This is freaking frustrating. I hate being stuck in mediocrity.

We lose another close game down the stretch, Memphis beats the Spurs...goodbye playoffs.

Oh what the [expletive] Martin?

Rumor: Raptors Open to Moving Bargnani?
Dash replied to Built Ford Tough's topic in Toronto Raptors Team Forum
I remember an article from somewhere around the deadline mentioned that the Rockets were considering Bargnani. Not sure if they are still interested or if they ever were. Anyways I don't think it would be a bad idea to move him. -
Lol that isn't what Yugo was trying to say at all. As for the neg rep, do not want.
-
Better and worse: worse because I was expecting the Rockets to be a top 4 team in the West but somewhat better because when Yao went down, I didn't expect us to be 4 games above .500 and closing in on the 8th seed. Our play since the trade deadline has been terrific.

You're right that the offense is basically freestyle, the Wolves have been extremely prone to ditching the triangle and when they do I can't what they are running. We will see about Randolph. Him being productive recently is a good sign and he can learn the game in time.
-
I'm pretty sure The Truth was being sarcastic with the thread title. Other than that I don't see anything wrong with this thread, yes its a small sample but its been a very solid 4 games for Randolph and I don't see what is so bad about praising his recent play. If he ever begins to suck again then you may be right about him but so far he's been great.

Correction: there are only 3 Acts instead of 4, took me 32 hours to finish which is still fairly long. Worth the money imo. Time to start on my mage playthrough.

Picking Jimmer would actually make sense, Bucks already have a good defense but lack anyone who can bring it offensively consistently. Maybe Jimmer can be the guy that does but its too early to say right now. Magic would work out great for him but he's a bit redundant to Nelson and Arenas no? I'd like to see come to Houston, Morey was apparently raving about him earlier in the season.

24 points on 16 shots and 15 rebounds with 2 blocks and 2 steals tonight against the Thunder. Oh please, I do agree that he would be receiving less playing time on a playoff team but the way he's been playing recently I wouldn't be surprised to see him logging major minutes on one. Volume attempts? Seriously? He's putting up an average of 20 points per game in the past 4 games on 60% shooting (13 shots by the way).
