They're buffing up their offer for Courtney Lee, read a few days ago that its the Heat pick + Bulls for Lee. Rockets probably pushing for Charlotte's pick though.
-
Didn't Camby say a couple of weeks ago that if he's traded, he'll retire unless its to Houston?

WojYahooNBA Portland is pushing hard and getting closer to completing a deal with Charlotte for Gerald Wallace, a league source tells Y! Sports.
-
Reportedly the offer the Bobcats made was Caron Butler ($10 million expiring) + Beaubois. Mavs real high on this Beaubois kid and turned it down. Pretty cheap deal for a solid player like Gerald Wallace. Houston can offer a similar deal like Battier/Jeffries + Aaron Brooks for Wallace.

Okay... It's time. Please? Like I'm really begging!

If I can find some way to reinstall FBB then I wouldn't mind running it. -
DeRozan doesn't like props in Slam Dunk Contest
Dash replied to a topic in Toronto Raptors Team Forum
Most of the decent possible have already been done in past contests. Ibaka had an incredible free throw line dunk but he got less points for it because its been done several times before. Props are now becoming a necessity now. DeRozan had some great dunks but he also entertained the crowd the least, which has cost him these past two years. -
Nuggets also acquire a $17.15 trade exception. This deal keeps on looking better for them. Read more: http://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/211261/Nuggets_Will_Receive_Four_Traded_Player_Exceptions_One_A_League_Record_$1715M#ixzz1EjIz9QzO

Nets interested in Gallinari and Aaron Brooks
Dash replied to Dash's topic in Brooklyn Nets Team Forum
If the Rockets could get Gerald Wallace or another borderline all-star, I wouldn't be opposed to a Brooks+ for Harris kind of deal and make a push for the playoffs. -
I remember there being several reports on draft night that if Thabeet fell to #3, the Thunder would take him. Not at all surprised that they are still interested in acquiring him, his trade value is at an all time low and Memphis is looking to move him so I wouldn't expect OKC to give up much for him. Kristic/Peterson (both expirings) + pick could get it done.

http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/sports/bk/bkn/7439848.html?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+houstonchronicle%2Fspbkbkn+%28HoustonChronicle.com+--+NBA+Basketball%29&utm_content=Google+Feedfetcher Can't say I blame him, Adelman has yet to give him a chance to play even when Courtney Lee, Aaron Brooks and Budinger/Battier missed time. Its ridiculous because the few minutes he was able to showcase his game, he was clearly better than most of the players in our rotation and yet for whatever reason Adelman has him in the doghouse. It seems Morey and Rick don't see eye to eye on the T-Will situation, Morey views him as a potential all-star and 'definitely' in their long term plans. Adelman...I just don't get what he's thinking anymore. I honestly hope he's gone after the season and T-Will is still a Rocket.

Clippers Offering Minnesota 1st For Gallanari
Dash replied to The Regime's topic in Los Angeles Clippers Team Forum
The pick is next year's and like BFT said this is stupid trade, the 2012 draft is going to be DEEP (after 2-3 weak ones) and I doubt the Wolves will finish outside of the bottom 5 again. Edit: topic moved to Clippers board. -
Wolves trade Brewer for Anthony Randolph and Eddy Curry
Dash replied to Dash's topic in Minnesota Timberwolves Team Forum
For Brewer, I can't really complain. I remember not wanting him on the Rockets but maybe the Wolves can get something out of him like they did with Darko. -
No way, Grizzlies are way too close for comfort and Blazers/Suns are right on their heels as well. It will be interesting how this team meshes without Carmelo and how Gallinari performs as the primary perimeter threat.

SpearsNBAYahoo Quietly, new NYK G Chauncey Billups got paid as he is expected to get $14 million salary '11-'12 and won't be bought out, source tells Y!
-
Brewer is inconsistent as hell, had a decent season last year but then had another down year again. A tad overrated defensively sometimes but he works hard and maybe a change of scenery will give him the boost he needs. Certainly doesn't hurt the Knicks at all for taking him for half a season especially after losing all that depth.
-
No Wolves traded just Brewer for Randolph/Curry, no picks.

-
Celtics don't have the assets although Bradley and Erden are interesting.
-
Curry is on the Wolves now.
-
Didn't know that, with Curry and Billups' contracts off the books there might be some wiggle room. Didn't Earl Barron agree to sign with Knicks after trade deadline? I remember reading a report on that a few weeks ago.
-
Am I disappointed that those picks won't be as good as we first thought so? Yes, but mad? Nah. Jordan Hill + 15-20 first round in deep 2012 draft is a fine trade to me.
