      Arian Foster ftw?

  3. He was actually pretty damn good but injuries caught up to him quick. Some games he would get them 20, the next would be like 8 points. If Tracy's rehab went as well as he seems say it went then he could be in store for a solid season.
  4. Horrible misconception of Trevor, he was by no means a selfish player. All Trevor ever did during his tenure was listen and do what the coaches told him to do, which was chuck up shots all games. The goal was to bring him along much like the Thunder did with Kevin Durant but obviously it didn't turn out anywhere close to that. Ariza was rather inefficient and disappointing as a first option but when we traded for Martin everything began to fall in place. His shooting percentages were horrible prior to the Kevin Martin trade, but his stats post ASG were rock solid. His field goal percentage went straight up to 44% and he was 41% from behind the arc. Inefficient right? As a scorer he was definitely expendable as 7'6 monster in Yao Ming needs accurate shooters to swarm outside the three. Yao will have those shooters in Kevin Martin and Aaron Brooks, both shoot the ball exceptionally well. Not to mention that Scola can shoot the 15 foot jump just fine too and again its not like Trevor is a bad shooter at all, he numbers went up as soon as he was in a more subtle role. Anyways you know what would be PERFECT in the middle of those skilled big men and pure shooters? A defensive specialist that can guard the best man on the floor that can also get steals and start fastbreaks. Do I think Lee is a good fit next to Yao Ming and Martin? Definitely. But is he a better fit than Trevor? Don't think so. Way I see it is we traded a starting small forward for a backup 2 guard, a position where Houston already had Bud and Taylor for. Name one team competing for the championship that worries about salary and lux tax. You can't. Aaron Brooks has playmaking skills of a D leaguer and was by far the most selfish player on this team last season. When Kevin Martin came over, instead of embracing a new high profile scorer Brooks gave Martin the cold shoulder and literally would NEVER pass him the ball in his first few games here. It got better as time went along but Brooks was still a rather selfish player, he seemed to only pass the ball when he failed to penetrate and two or three defenders are hauling over him. You said earlier in your post that Ariza was an extremely selfish player, which again isn't true as Trevor averaged 4.4 assists a game while Aaron barely managed to get one more assist than Ariza. I do like Brooks though but his playmaking abilities leave little to be desired. Collison, as you said, is probably the better player or at least close enough and far superior as a playmaker. Give me Collison any day.
  5. Patches actually made the game worse. Before I never had to worry about my big men camping at the 3. As for the trailer it looks pretty good. People said that 2k10 was the same thing as 2k9 during its first trailer but when we got more information it started to look much, much better.
  6. Better question is why didn't Houston trade Ariza for Collison/Posey straight up rather than taking the worst player in the trade.
  7. His shooting percentages were horrible prior to the Kevin Martin trade, but his stats post ASG were rock solid. His field goal percentage went straight up to 44% and he was 41% from behind the arc. Terrible shooter right? Chase is a gifted shooter but his defense isn't very desirable. Trevor played tremendous defense for a while and helped bring back the fast break game to Houston with his steals. His ability to slash and make a pass to the open player was very Tmac-isque, and a very underrated aspect of his game. Trevor did all the little things that were perfect next to premiere scorers in Brooks and Kevin Martin, and an all-star big man.
  8. Seriously? The Pacers RAPE this trade. Do not like it from the Rockets end one bit.
  9. ^There is actually a bigger reason than that, I just forgot.
  10. Just heard that its officially tomorrow. Savor these last few meals, this is going to be a LONG 30 days.
  11. We always do tend to get horrible schedules, nice to see that our schedule is in our favor for a change.

So I'm thinking of getting the FSC and channeling NBA TV, is it any good?

  14. Link I know I'm a few days late on this but I didn't see this posted and saw his debut last night, and couldn't help it. Incredible news for NY and the MLS. Its insane that the Mexican national team captain is playing here in the States, MLS is growing bigger by the moment.
  15. Burn a Quran Day fails miserably.
  16. Well I'm officially on my last 'teen year. Kinda depressing. -_-
  17. I'm still up for a game but I'm not sure when I can get online.
  18. Dunleavy should be happy that he was able to hold such a high status in the Clippers organization for so long and that he lasted as long as he did. Mediocre coach and an even worse general manager.
  19. Yeah I wouldn't be opposed to trading him now if we can get something decent back. We can easily offer the same package at the deadline by replacing Jeffries with Ariza if need be.
  20. I wouldn't be so quick to get rid of him. There has been talk of the Rockets using the expiring contracts of Jeffries, Battier and other assets (youngins and picks) at the deadline much like we did last season with T-Mac.
  21. Read more: http://realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/68541/20100805/teams_pursue_jeffries_knicks_offering_curry_plus_assets/#ixzz0vm0t77Gf Seriously? The Knicks gave up Jordan Hill and 2 possible lottery picks to get rid of him for half a season, and now they're willing to give up assets again to get him back? I know that the value we would receive in a deal wouldn't compare to the deadline deal but still...
