Green is certainly more talented but his poor playoff showing and inconsistency dropped him out of the top 10 for me. Some nights he looks solid on both ends and others its like he's the worst defensive player in the league.

Yao's play was really encouraging. This team really went to work after Adelman called them out in the last preseason game.

Its been 3 years since the draft. Rank the top players from the 07 class. 1. Kevin Durant - do I even have to explain this? 2. Greg Oden - despite the injuries, Oden is still very talented and among one of the best low post defenders and rebounders in the league. If this was a redraft though I may have ranked him lower. 3. Joakim Noah - Noah was the consensus pick by fans to be the bust of the 2007 draft, but now is considered one of the best big men in the game and an invaluable piece to the Chicago Bulls. Noah is the best rebounder in the league after Dwight Howard and a tenacious defender. 4. Al Horfod - Horford and Gasol put up similar statistics but Al gets the nod because of his superior rebounding and offensive tools. 5. Marc Gasol - we see draft night steals every year but how often do you find a big man like Marc Gasol late in the second round? Marc is solid defensively and almost averaged a double-double for the Grizzlies last season. 6. Aaron Brooks - Aaron is one of the purest scoring point guards in the game with the longest shooting range. Brooks was a borderline All-Star last year leading the Rockets in scoring until the arrival of Kevin Martin, he does lack defensively and a poor playmaker but it doesn't take away his offensive ability. 7. Carl Landry - Carl MANdry as he was called here in Houston, Carl was mostly certainly a 'man' as he hustled harder than anyone on the court and finished plays strong. Landry had loads of tools offensively, mostly notably his ability to hit jumpers from 15 feet out. However, Landry was a horrific rebounder and mediocre defender, which might be why Morey decided to ship him out when he did. Still he gets the nod here at #7. 8. Rodney Stuckey - one of the few bright spots on the Detroit Pistons last season, Stuckey was described by many as a poor man's (very poor) Dwayne Wade early on his career for his canny ability to take it to the hole and finish. Like Brooks he could use some improvements in the assist department. 9. Thaddeus Young - Thad is well built all-around SF, he shot the ball well last season (averaging 14 points in 32 minutes) and proved to be a very solid rebounder and defender. He didn't get much publicity on the 76ers but he could be one of those 'glue guys' on a playoff team, which Philly has a good chance of becoming. 10. Glen Davis - surprised? Well you watched the Boston Celtics in their past 3 playoff runs, you'd realize that Davis was a crucial part of those teams. Whenever Kevin Garnett sat down for a breather or was injured, Davis stepped and produced and even hit a game winning shot against the Orlando Magic in the 2009 Eastern Conference semi finals. Honorable mentions: Spencer Hawes, Ramon Sessions, Jeff Green, Wilson Chandler Draft class grade: B - I'd give this class a lower grade but we did get one star (potentially 2 if Oden ever gets healthy) out of it and how often do we see so many solid centers in one draft class?

Liberal but not hardcore like some other people. I wouldn't exactly align myself with either Republican or Democrat but I do lean toward Democrat.

My workouts were poor-poor-fair, I guess my high teammate grade bumped me up a bit. I'm a SF with a point forward style backing up Lebron James. Something that has been bothering me: while I am a SF and the Heat do play me somewhere between the 1-3 all the time but usually I have to guard PFs. Anyone else having this problem?
-
Nope it just happened like 2-3 weeks ago. That goal actually strained Cesc's knee or something, which in turn caused him to miss a couple of games and Arsenal dropped in the standings.

I got drafted by the Heat. ^_^

Lol nice goal but nothing beats Fabregas'. http://il.youtube.com/watch?v=q95n-kAXo-0&feature=related

I guess I'm going to have to download this game off clutchfans again. Damn you Dish Network/Fox.
-
Can't watch because Dish is having some sort of dispute with Fox. No streams either. [expletive]ing lame.
-
Darko Milicic: 8 points (80%), 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 2 blocks in 24 minutes. He's not bad imo.
-
Didn't really watch the game but Beasley looked good out there statistically. He did have 6 turnovers but its his first game playing in the triangle.
-
Yep. It was one of the problems on my test review due tomorrow.

Wow that site is PERFECT for double checking your answers. I might even buy the package so I can see the steps, could be a life saver later in the year. This thread really helped out a lot. Thanks everyone.

Thanks, looks like a decent site. I will check this out later tonight

Thank you!! 86/13 was actually one of the answer choices.
-
Yeah thats it. Sorry about that.

4/x-7 + 9/x-4 = 7/x2-11x+28 The slashes mean that its a fraction and the x2 means its x to the power 2. I've been at this problem for a while and can't seem to get it.

Started choking down the stretch but we held on. Good win and with the Colts losing, we're first in the division.

I think his lackluster performance in the summer league really demeaned him in the eyes of Rockets fans. A lot of his accomplishments during the season were forgotten and many began to see him as a mediocre backup, which is far from the truth. I still see the potential in Jordan and think he can reach 16/10 status in a few years.

Welcome! Great to finally have another active Rockets fan on board. You'll love it here, we don't look so hot during the offseason but once the season hits the quantity and quality here is gold.

Aaron Brooks bother by no contract extension

The Rockets have a policy of letting the market decide what a player is worth. Landry, Scola and Lowry all went through this process but all weren't too happy with how it was handled. -
Its been the exact opposite for me. Once the weekend hits I'm exhausted and feel like I 'deserve' a break even though I still have some studying/homework to do. Always regret it on my Mondays but I can't help it.
