Pretty much what the Rockets/Nets are thinking. We know that the Nuggets won't trade Melo to the Knicks and the Bulls refuse to let go of Noah, which just leaves bottom feeders and bubble teams like the Warriors/Clippers/Sixers. Don't expect Melo to be traded any time soon if things stay the way they are.

Good move imo, no more distractions heading into training camp and Denver was likely asking for too much if Morey decided to back out. If Melo is still around mid-season when his price tag will drop some then you can expect Houston to get back in the running. For now we're staying pat or look elsewhere for an upgrade.

Same with Boozer. Why the hell is he an 85? Happy with the Rockets' rating though, tough to swallow Yao being an 83 and I think Martin should be a bit higher (at least better than Vince Carter) but other than that no complaints.

Everyone on offense was pitiful with the exceptions of Andre Johnson and Arian Foster. Defense was just as bad, Dallas abused the hell out of Kareem Jackson.

Well with Miami out of the running for Dampier, Houston is beginning to appear as the favorites to land him but Damps has been taking his time. According to an insider If Fesenko doesn't get an answer from Houston this weekend then he's probably going to take Utah's qualifying offer.

Having a brother that plays this game on a average of 4-6 hours a day really ruins it for you.

I'm not sure how serious of a destination the Lakers are but any package would almost certainly have to include Bynum along with Ebanks and picks, not a bad deal for Denver since they'd get Bynum but the other pieces are lacking.

Came up with this poll after I heard Broussard's report earlier that Melo would prefer a deal prior to training camp because it would be far too uncomfortable for both him and the organization. Also said that Denver could get a lot more for Melo than they would at the February trade deadline.

Anyone watch the premiere? It started off pretty slow but it all came together toward the next half of the show. The Event looked solid from that point on until...they pulled a page from Lost. That just ruined it for me but I might give it another couple of episodes.
