I don't care what people say, Jets don't deserve to be here. I hope they get thrashed.
-
Texans had to play the Colts twice (both times they played their starters) and beat the Bengals in a competitive game. Yet the Jets make the playoffs BECAUSE they beat the same two teams, who just happened to be playing their backups. Is that really fair? There are only 16 games in a NFL season, each game counts and teams can easily get screwed over like the Texans.

^Haha, I didn't get the chance to watch it yet but hoping to do so soon. New episode tomorrow! I hope the plot picks up.

You serious? Scola is no where near worth that much money. Morey will resign both to reasonable contracts like he always does. Stop trying to make a case for Jamison. In two years he will be a 35 year old being paid $15 million. DO NOT WANT.

2009/2010: $11,641,095 2010/2011: $13,358,905 2011/2012: $15,076,715 Pass.

Knicks have nothing Houston wants. I wouldn't mind a trade with the Wizards as long as there is no Arenas/Jamison in the deal.

Yeah, I wasn't expecting this to be an easy transition but when he does get some rest, his numbers are solid. The Rockets have the hardest schedule in the entire league up to this point. Once February hits, the rest of the schedule is a breeze. That is when we can get a better evaluation of Trevor. Don't forget, he's still trying to find his place here in Houston. He has to adjust to the Princeton...the speed...the new role...his new teammates. The rough schedule isn't making this easy for him either, just give him some time.

We need to win this and two of Broncos/Ravens/Jets need to lose if we want to make the playoffs...
-
Houston would have to be brain dead to send him to New York unless Gallo is coming back.
-
Are you kidding? Scola? Pass...we get the same production from Jamison in Scola but $10 million cheaper. If you think Houston does that then you haven't kept up them. Houston's entire roster (except Tracy, who was extended by our previous GM) is made up of productive players on cheap contracts. Rockets are not willing to commit to ANYTHING long term unless its a superstar or young asset.

Yeah, its not hard to see why he's been struggling as of late. The pressure of being the primary option and the fatigue is getting to him.

Rockets won't cut Mike Harris, they've had their eyes on him for far too long to just let him go like that. We would need to move 2 players, Harris and someone else like Joey Dorsey (Cook isn't moving). Unless Morey feels Dorsey will become a decent NBA player, I don't think he would mind parting with him. That is it though, other than those two players, no other Rocket will be moved in this deal. Personally, I don't like this deal one bit. We have a growing version of Brad Miller in David Andersen, James is as useless as Cook, and Salmons has been awful this year and I rather play Budinger/Taylor than him.
-
You guys do realize that Houston's roster is full right? 3 for 1 won't work.
-
I'm impressed with Jermaine Taylor. Carl Landry V2?
-
Of course not, I'm sure Morey is willing to add something on the side if it means getting Iggy. Although I would not add either of the two, not even Brian Cook, if it meant having to take on Elton Brand. What I like is that Morey is targeting teams with financial difficulties (Washington, Sacramento, Philly) and is trying to squeeze out as many assets as he can. These deals look great in Houston's POV but I think a lot of fans are ignoring what exactly the impact of acquiring T-Mac does. His contract offers a full restart for any organization. Ticket sales might take a hit this season (depending on Tracy's play) but are assured a lottery pick and a huge cap relief in the offseason. Morey is playing his cards right. Its amazing that people outside of Houston thought we would settle for a trade involving Eddy Curry and Jared Jefferies.

Next great international Big man(Predicted to go number 4) This year
Dash replied to Years's topic in NBA Draft History
Very high on him. I wanted Houston to tank for him and play him next to Yao, but obviously that isn't happening. -
PG: Kirk Hinrich - call me crazy but his on ball defense is amazing and he plays with such a high IQ, I have to go with him. SG: Kobe Bryant SF: Shane Battier PF: Kevin Garnett C: Dwight Howard Reasons have been stated for the rest already.
-
Exactly, the ideal trade Houston is looking for is not out there. T-Mac is likely not getting moved.

If this goes down...wow.

I never said Tracy wasn't at fault, both sides were acting like babies. T-Mac with his nagging and whining and Morey/Adelman by not respecting the man who did so make for this team. I guess he didn't 'fit in' with this team when he led a pack of role players to the best regular season Houston has seen the entire decade. He certainly didn't 'fit in' when he put up 10 points and 3 assists in roughly 8 minutes. If you watched the game, there was nothing soft about him ; he was attacking every single play and set up Scola and the others for easy baskets. The rest of the team seems to hold much for respect for him when they rallied behind him in that game. I'll agree that they NEVER had any attention of playing him, they wanted him gone all along. Both were still bitter about last season despite all his efforts to return to his former status. What superstar would want to come here knowing how the Rockets handled the T-Mac situation? Whatever, I just think he should have been given an opportunity to prove himself. Instead we tossed him aside like we do with all our former stars. Hell, Yao would be tossed to the curb if it wasn't for his marketability. We still don't even know if Yao will be healthy next season to lead us. From recent reports, Yao has supposedly said he would play for China in the offseason. If he does so and ends up injured again, he's good as gone.

Rockets looked tired out there and I can't blame them considering we have the hardest schedule in the league. Ah well, after February the schedule is a breeze.

Read the rest here. Now its time to merge the bills.
