  1. Dude is only 26 years old, too early to be talking about his legacy. How many players have seen that 9 finals games at that age anyways?
  2. True but what they could get out of next year's stacked draft could potentially be better than Irving anyways.

  5. 5 of those 11 came in the first game, which the Heat won, so that makes it 1.5 ppg in the last 4 4th quarters. Miami is 1-3 in that span.

  8. Why would you trade for McGee straight up when you could draft Kanter, Jonas Valanciunas, or trade down for Biyombo?
  9. Video of Kanter from Nike Hoop Summit. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kqHsogkgqtc 2nd quarter: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9CiXhoDBez8 3rd quarter: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=egl7PrRJzYw 4th quarter: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PIynYusFdb4

  11. Looks like discussions didn't go very far. But Iggy is apparently on the market.
  12. I forgot to mention this bit from Ford new mock: Hamilton and Harris have come up a lot in this thread but if I had to pick between the two, I don't think I could. Harris has a good body, a nice set of skills (good defensively, etc), and an incredible motor to go with it and while he is very young (18 years to be exact), he doesn't have the upside Hamilton does. Ford mentioned it a couple of weeks ago, Hamilton is one of the few players in this draft that could become a top team scorer. Harris is definitely the safer pick and fits the team concept better but if Morey and the Rockets are looking to make a homerun, Hamilton would be the guy going here. Marcus Morris is actually someone I have paid very little attention to, he is probably the best player on the board (assuming all 3 players + Biyombo are somehow available) but he doesn't fit a need at all unless we're moving Scola and the team has lost all faith in Jordan Hill. Either way I'm not a big fan because there are more pressing needs.
  13. Chad Ford mock draft 4.0 How many times have my speculations for this draft been wrong? Plenty but if Biyombo slips all the way to the Rockets at #14, I will be doing backflips. A bit surprised by this pick, I thought surely that Ford would have us taking Honeycutt or Davis Bertrans but at #23 Vucevic is great value. I can't say that I've seen much film on him but I've read plenty of positives about him from both Givony and Ford. Something to note is that while he may be 7 feet tall, he's apparently working on a jump shot according to Draftexpress.
  14. Per Hoopsworld so take it with a grain of salt. http://www.hoopsworld.com/Story.asp?STORY_ID=20063 Per Chad Ford chat earlier today. Jordan Hamilton and Tobias Harris have been the top two names coming up in rumors/mocks for the Rockets' 14th pick. Biyombo would be my top pick from the names listed but there is absolutely no way he lasts till the Rockets pick.
  15. FIRST THE FINGER AND NOW THE FLU, DIRK IS ON HIS WAY TO BECOMING THE GOAT.

  16. Ahh well nice call. But I still believe...somewhat. Chinese media exposure probably played a large role in management's decision to keep him around all these years but I don't think its the only reason they did. He's a 7'6 center superstar when healthy, how many of those are you going to find in free agency or even the draft? Without him we would be years away from contention so they kept him around in hopes that he would finally have a healthy season, but like the fans management was in for a big disappointment. Anyways I hope we resign him to a small deal and see if we can bring him back at some point in the season.
  17. http://www.reuters.com/article/2011/06/08/us-nba-china-yao-idUSTRE7571E620110608 Hard to believe that he said a championship ring isn't all that important to him but I can understand what he was trying to say. Anyways the fact that he thinks he's only 30% on the road to recovery makes me worried and he doesn't sound very confident about making a return.
  18. Already a thread on this. http://www.otrbasketball.com/forums/topic/22799-mortal-kombat/page__st__20 But yes it is.
