  1. I didn't mean he does it all. I mean I've never seen a player bring the type of energy that he does. And I think Byron pointing this out is more so to get Andy attention. Most people still think all he does is flop, but in reality that was what he did 5-6 years ago.
  2. Full Story As bad as our team is, I wish everyone could see this dude play. Problem is, we don't have any nationally televised games. What he brings to the table I've never seen from a basketball player.
  3. Can't take watching these games anymore. All I can do is hope Andy gets to the all-star game.
  4. I look on the box score and see Dwight was 3-12 from the line. I've already seen a handful of games where the Lakers lose specifically because he can't shoot free throws. He's gotten amazingly worse than he was in Orlando at FTs. Nice to see Jamison getting some more playing time.
  5. I'm debating whether to watch only the first three quarters of each game. All but one or two of the 14 games this season have been close, and we've won 2-3 of them. Pitiful. You can say we're supposed to be bad. But the way they play the first three quarters, the way they build these leads.....they aren't as bad as their record shows.
  6. I guess. The only guys who I feel confident will be here for the long haul are Irving, Waiters, Thompson, Gee, Zeller, and possibly Pargo. The rest of this team will be made up of whomever we draft in the next 1-2 years as well as a few free agents. Waiters has proven he can shoot the three and take it to the rack, but he's shooting way too many jumpers. He has also been benched by Byron Scott at key moments by playing poor defense. But he's only played 10 plus games, so I'm thinking he can improve with time. Thompson still hasn't played a full season, like Kyrie, due to the shortened season, so he's still technically a rookie. He's played hard this year and has gotten more physical. He just needs to learn how to score when he gets under the basket, as he has gotten blocked way too much. He also has bad ticky tack fouls that can be fixed in time. Gee has played so hard. His one on one defense gives us a chance to keep the opposing team's best scorer under control. On offense, he's improved his long-range shooting, and if he sees a lane, it's usually an automatic bucket. Zeller has been solid. He's got great strength when he goes up for boards and can run the floor well. He has great potential still. Pargo has played unbelievably in Kyrie's place. We've been in position to win all three games since he's become starter, and I see an excellent future for him as our back up point guard. He could also play SG with Kyrie on the floor. Other than that, I'm assuming Varejao will get traded and the other guys will be let go.
  7. Check Varejao's numbers for the season, nowhere near random.

  9. Holy Pargo. 28 points? Varejao with 19 boards, Gee with great defense and 3 point shooting. Nice to win finally, add to it the nice feeling of winning in our first game without Kyrie.
  10. What an ending! Horford missed both FT's, Washington couldn't get the rebound, then gives up a layup. Then Washington takes a two point lead, then Korver nails a three. Then, with less than a second left, Washington throws it up from the inbounds and it goes in, but not in time.
  11. The Nets had way too many possessions where they just threw up errant threes. While Dwight wasn't shooting FT's well, I think the hack a Dwight took them out of the rhythm. Dwight continues to look like a joke. Who laughs after an air ball free throw? He still doesn't take his profession seriously. He's gotten worse and worse each year at free throw shooting and maturity. Look, the guy is an athletic freak and is an automatic double double, but as a big man, he has to been the least imposing one I've ever seen of his status.
  12. On a side note, Robert Sacre on LA does the most obnoxious celebration after each LA basket.
  13. Operation tank is in effect. Time to trade Varejao and get something while the potential return is at its highest. It's a shame that this season has essentially gone to waste, but it's a necessary evil to trade him and hope for the future.
  14. Kyrie was schooled by Jrue who looked like "Uncle Jrue" last night. Waiters was horrific, as was our bench. This is hard to watch, but at the same time, we've had a tough, tough schedule.
  15. hahaha these are hysterical. If he doesn't end up playing a game with Philly I'll feel terrible for the team.
  16. I'm all in on Crawford. He is balling for LAC like I've never seen. At the same time, I haven't seen the Knicks play much, so I'll include JR because looking at his stats he's worthy.
  17. Has anyone got this? I don't know yet if I want to get it for the holidays. Haven't gotten a wrestling game since SVR 10.
  18. You would think the Jazz bench was the starting lineup watching this game. Every time the bench gets them back in the game, they are too gassed from closing in to take the lead. And wow Demarre Carroll!

  20. Regardless of what a joke our team is, Varejao damn well be an all-star this year.

  22. Has anyone listened to it? I think there's some amazing songs on there.
