  1. Von Wafer off the bench for the MLE may not be that bad of a deal. He could either start, or platoon with DeRozan in the 48 minutes needed. He can score, but he's kind of one-dimensional.
  2. For Baseball Mogul, you needed to be in Commissioner Mode, try that.
  3. Yeah, that could be a reason. I think I got my hands on Mogul 09 here, or you can just send 08 OSU.
  4. ECN tried to get a league going, it just didn't really pick up. But I'd love to do one. How many are you looking for?
  5. I tried to run one in late March (a Mock off-season) on the old OTR, but it didn't work, we only got 17 guys for something very small. So I think it'll be tough to run one now. However, I'm interested. I can download Mogul 09 and start on a file if you'd like. Just PM me a link of where you got yours.
  6. I agree, I absolutely can't wait for this video game. I've gotten NHL ever since 1999, not gonna stop now. Looks amazing.
  7. Just because he has the size, doesn't mean he's a center. Charlie V would get abused day in and day out at center, it would not be pretty at all. He's more of a SF then a C. Boozer is the more logical option.
  8. It was, even though the BC/Saskatchewan game was a complete and utter mess. Even Geroy Simon said it was the worst game he'd ever been apart of. We play the Ti-Cats this week, hopefully we can bounce back. Shouldn't be too hard.
  9. What he gives them in scoring, he doesn't give them in defense. Detroit will feel like they're playing with 4 defenders instead of five. Gordon doesn't understand the concept.
  10. Pumped for the new CFL. I think Calgary, Edmonton and Montreal are the best teams this year.
  11. Yeah I agree, but even if it is front-loaded, they won't be able to contend for Duncan Keith or Patrick Kane, perhaps even Toews. They just signed Kopecky at 2.4 mill for 2 years. Just awful.
  12. Hossa signs at 12 years at 5.1 per. Awful deal. Way to go once again Fail Tallon, you're losing either Keith or Kane. Quality job!
  13. I would say a lot of players that have boom or bust potential. You guys drafted Eric Wellwood, Kyle Wellwood's brother, and he's amazingly fast and agile, but he was a late round pick. My favorite pick was Lauridsen. My god that kid's huge (6-6 220) and he's what Pierre McGuire would say "an absolute monster." This is what a guy on HFBoards had to say about Lauridsen as well.
  14. Riopel put up some great numbers in the playoffs for Moncton. He's small and needs to put on a few pounds, but he could be a steal. 2.03 GAA and a .938 save % in the Playoffs bodes well. He could play right away for the Phantoms. Potential steal like I said. Good for a 5th rounder. Adam Morrison is like his NBA counterpart. Weak, was taken way off the board, likely not to equate to anything. At least he's clean shaven, lol.
  15. Green will likely play the 4 so Harden can stay. Maybe not this year, but next year for sure. Collison doesn't need to be starting or seeing major minutes in the NBA.
  16. Your giving Tom brownie points because Peyton got drafted to a team that plays in a domed stadium? Fine, Brady's had the better coach, and I'm sure it doesn't help playing under the best defensive coach . I've watched both Brady and Manning play since they entered the NFL and played their first game. Manning's thrown almost 2300 passes, yet maintains the better Y/A, Completion %, and YPG throughout his entire career. Throwing 2300 more passes usually means a lesser number in those departments. Manning is more accurate, and better at short and intermediate routes, while I'll give Tom the deep ball. And Reggie Wayne is not an elite receiver, he's never even been a top ten receiver. Joseph Addai has been god-awful, besides his rookie season. Dallas Clark is a decent, yet not elite, receiving tight end. Harrison was elite until two years ago. I still don't know why there needs to be a discussion about this, there the the same talent, they have different strengths and weaknesses. It's not a worthwhile discussion because no one's right. It's apples and oranges. 1A and 1B. Whatever.
  17. Jeff Adrien is going to stick somewhere. He's got too much talent and leadership qualities not to stay around as a rotational player who can give you good fouls, and play the 3 and 4 positions.
  18. Depends on the team. If you need a scorer and aren't really worried about team chemistry, then I think you go Iverson. I'm thinking Kidd though.
  19. Fear Brian Tallet`s `stache. That`s all I`m going to say.
  20. I kind of hope they make it easier to get an online game going. [expletive]s so confusing to start out with, it took me 10 minutes to finally play against my friend. NHL and Madden are much easily accessible.
  21. I love myself some Jon Lajoie. I actually went to one of his shows in Vancouver before when he came here, he`s amazingly funny. You gotta love his awkward pauses and surprisingly witty lyrics haha.
  22. The NBA game is totally different then the Southern Conference in the NCAA. There are no polished defenders that are ever going to carve a NBA career from that conference. Curry is too frail to slash, drive or penetrate in the NBA, he's going to get eaten alive by even decent defenders.
  23. I sincerely don't see what people see in Nate. Great, what he's done is cool, but I could care less when his team was as dismal as it was last year. He's a glorified scoring guard, and those come a dime a dozen. I would pass, because he has very little qualities other then scoring, and perhaps handling the ball a little.
