Cool! Good to have you aboard. That's an awesome sig/avy, BTW! Jozy's a beast!

Man, if I knew that we get pts based off minutes played I would've started Mokoena and Richard Kingson... DAMN!!

Yeah, 6 of the 12 points I have are off of minutes.

man i forget to put people in that were playin for like 1st 2 days LOL...oh well im still on top for now

Same here: I had THE BEST AFRICAN GK (Richard KINGSON) on the bench just because I took in mind N4Sheed's comments... <_<

Anyhow, I had Kingson on the bench and when I roll over his name I got some stats:

..^ Same for RSA's Aaron Mokoena. But they still give me as much as '0 pts'. <_<

Scoring

During the tournament the fantasy football players will be allocated a point score after each game, based on their performances in the matches. Actions occurring in extra time count but penalty shoot-outs do not.

Points are awarded as detailed in the table below:

Action Points

Playing 1-30 minutes 1

Playing 31-60 minutes 2

Playing 61+ minutes 3

Goal 5

For each goal assist 3

Goalkeeper clean sheet * 6

Defender clean sheet * 4

Midfielder clean sheet * 1

For every 2 saves - Goalkeeper 1

For every save - Outfield player 1

For every penalty save 5

For every penalty miss -2

Foul causing a penalty -1

For every 2 goals conceded by your goalkeeper or defenders -1

Own goal -2

Yellow card -1

Red card (includes any yellow card points) ** -3

*A clean sheet is defined as conceding 0 goals and playing 61+ minutes.

**If a player receives a red card, he will continue to be penalised for goals conceded by their team.

Additionally there are attacking and defending bonuses.

Attacking bonusAction Points

For every 2 balls delivered into the penalty area * 1

* Ball entry into attacking penalty area whilst maintaining possession: Player making run, Player passing, Player receiving, Cross.

Defending bonus

Action Points

For recovering a ball * 1

* The sum of gaining possession tackles and clearances completed

Please note that scores may be updated as and when FIFA official match reports are processed and/or corrected. No further updates will be made to the data after midnight South African time.

Player points are updated as the games take place. These can be viewed on the My Team page. League tables are updated at the end of each day.

Points will be calculated using data provided to us on behalf of FIFA. Neither we nor FIFA will enter into any correspondence relating to the allocation of points to players. We accept no responsibility for the accuracy of this data.

Assists

An assist is awarded when the goal scorer receives the ball directly from a team mate and scores. If the assist pass takes a small deflection which doesn't change the direction of the pass, it will still be given.

No assists are awarded for own goals or penalties.
