KIDS was where I saw Mac's potential as an artist. Best Day Ever was god awful, that mini-mixtape that he threw out there for his fans was made up of mostly garbage as well. For a period of a year, he dropped nothing noteworthy. Then Blue Slide Park dropped, and because I was so turned off to his latest music, I didn't even listen. One of my friends hit me up and said I had to at least check it out. I listened and I was like wow, this is definitely a lot better than the garbage for the past year. This mixtape is just as good as Blue Slide Park.
