an undergrad degree in bio is pretty much useless as well, unless you want to be a bio teacher or something. id just stick with psych because im pretty sure your upper div classes are going to be easier than those in the sciences (no offense)

anyways, i have a friend who wants to be a PT too. hes in the same predicament, you just have to work hard to raise your gpa, also do a lot of volunteer work and gain some experience to look good on your application, because its getting more and more competitive to get into these schools. dont feel bad though, most people i know are just as confused and we're pretty much all [expletive]ed regardless because the job market is horrible

None taken, I really want to take the easier path but my parents are on my ass about it. Not sure if its more impressive to get a 3.5 GPA or better in an easy major, or get absolutely pounded in the ass by a hard major. Cause then I do triple the work and stay in school for like 2 extra years and waste more money and probably get nothing either way.

Luckily I might have the hook up with volunteer work. My uncle knows some guy who does all the physical therapy and surgeries for all the UM players and just really top end athletes in general. I also got my knee checked with him when I tore my ACL so I should be good there.

I have just been thinking about this for the last few nights and it is getting to me lol. My advisors are no help either. I met with the head of PT in FIU and she makes it seem like we are an elite school and stuff. She told me they get thousands of applications and only except 40, then I check online and we are not even in the top 100 PT schools and we don't have the resources that other schools have.

Took my dog to the Vet the other day because he didn't seem to be himself, and found out that this guy has degenerative kidney disease. They gave him sixmonths to a year to live :(

Does anyone else look like an absolute idiot after getting a haircut? I mean, its no problem if you get your hair cut really short, but I leave mine like short-medium and I came out of the place today looking like I had a mullet, then I took a shower and I looked fine lol

Japan Earthquake 2012: Strong Quake Shakes New Year's Day

Less than a year after Japan was devastated by a massive earthquake and tsunami in 2011, the first strong earthquake of 2012 has struck Japan. The strong earthquake with a magnitude of 6.8 shook Japan off the country's coast on Sunday, the first day of the new year, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The USGS said the earthquake struck 495 kilometers (307 miles) south-southwest of Tokyo at a depth of 348.5 kilometers (216.6 miles). Because the jolt was so deep, it was less likely to cause damage at the surface than quake last March 11, which caused a tsunami and, ultimately, a nuclear crisis in the country.
