  1. The Heat's problems are obvious. But they'll fix them, I'm not that concerned. They'll win 50-55 games, make the playoffs, and we'll see what they do. With that said, I do not think they were as good as some, ex. Van Gundy, predicted.
  2. I never said speaking like a true idiot. But his comment did make me laugh as it reinforces the "War hungry" stereotype of the right. And a 'peace treaty' or any type of diplomatic relation with NK is pretty much impossible. They are retarded. Lol.
  3. How many people do you think cheat the welfare system? Percentage wise? It's really not many. Most of those people need the help, you're just to [expletive]ing ignorant to realize. Maybe you should take a walk through any ghetto in America and see how people are living.
  4. nah. a suspension was fitting. he didn't even go for the ball.
  5. The Knicks don't have rivals. You actually have to be good to have rivals.
  6. I don't think Riley will pull the trigger that quickly. But Erick Spoelstra does seem like a moron to me. Everyone praises him though, so we'll see.
  7. But lets be fair here. It's not fair to compare those two? Horry has had a ton more opportunities playing on real good teams and being in the playoffs to make that shot. There's no saying that Kevin Martin couldn't have knocked down those shots...I mean it's just like...I can't make much sense of the entire thread. lol.
  8. And then you wonder why the NBA isn't nearly as popular? People are really turned off by the way the games are officiated and the way there is no defense played / allowed.
  9. Nah. Ego wasn't the issue with Iverson. He was a good team player, I think that's actually the biggest myth on him - that he was some type of Terrell Owens [expletive]. Iverson was ultra competitve and a LEADER. Iverson was one of the greatest players I've ever seen. He revolutionized the cross over. He took a BEATING night in and night out going to the hook against 7 footers. And lets not forget...he played in an era where people play defense. He'd average 30 ppg for his career if he played in today's NBA. Exactly. Iverson night in and night out took a beating, got back up, played through pain. Guy was a true leader and warrior. The year he took the 6ers to the finals was incredible. That's like saying if Jordan was 6'10" he'd have been even better. If Iverson was 6'4" he would've been a completely different player. He definitely wasn't the greatest player of all time. He's one of the best...but to be fair, no one's really compared to Jordan.
  10. I don't know of too many examples of 5 ppg scorers being great at the end of the game and 25 ppg scorers being unreliable at teh end of the game. not to sound like a hater/basher but the thread is ridiculous to me.
  11. This [expletive]ga has one of the best crossovers since A.I.
  12. Very few. People find ways to cheat the system in everything in life. You haven't figured that out by now?
  13. I agree. Thought it was awesome. As I listen to the album more my only gripe is the two GOOD Friday tracks. Would've really liked to see two new songs like a Gorgeous or Dark Fantasy instead of Monster and So Appalled.
  14. Sweet win. Team is playing a lot better, nice to see W's on the road, something the Knicks haven't done in....literally a decade. With that said, can't get too high on the team, they did play some pretty [expletive]ty opponents. But these are games Knick teams in the past would've lost, so certainly a step forward!
  15. Good he should be. never even made a play on the ball
  16. lol.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HpnYvRZ2NxM
  17. Competition man. The government can't run a successful program.
  18. What makes you think that? Their defense is absolutely horrible.
  19. Elite WR's are harder to find IMO. You see a lot of top backs drafted in the later rounds. Look at how great a force Bradshaw and Jacobs were in the Giants SB run a few years ago. 7th and 4th round draft picks...
  20. Nah, Auburn will win this one. It'll be a close game, high scoring, but I say Auburn pulls this one out 37-30.
  21. Privatizing it won't make it any better. It's going to be a pain in the [expletive] either way.
  22. Yeah...but you'd be surprised at how many people won't travel due to their fear of another 9/11. That's obviously affecting their life.
  23. So we can pick out who looks like a terrorist...right?
