Lol...Miami was the best team in Florida for years man. It's only recently the past 7 or 8 years that they've tailed off. C'mon dude. Did you not watch football before 2005? Miami has tradition. LOL. They are the most traditional school but whenever you have tha many NC's and that many players in the NFL, you have tradition and a recruiting base. They are consistently in the top 15 in recruiting classes each year. And Flash has already stated most of the points as to why they don't have as big a fan base as some of the other top programs in the nation.

Crawford Open To Return To Knicks
JYD replied to The Lone Granger's topic in New York Knicks Team Forum
We could use another shooter - but can't see it happening. He'll probably demand too much money, and I don't know what we'll have left after we get 'Melo. -
the dude had it coming to him. he gets in scuffles several times each game no matter who they play... yeah hahahaha but tbf finnegan took some clean shots to the dome and still got up lol
-
lol andre. i hate finnigan. dude is such a douchebag. how many games andre gets suspended? i say 2. and finnigan 1.

Currently in OT...C'mon Bills!

They may have more money (although idk how you'd know that ?) but Miami has just as much or bigger football reputation then Georgia. They're both traditional powers...but Da U has produced the most big name NFL players...they definitely have a big fan base...there are just more big schools in FLA now with the emergence of USF and UCF as well. Agreed...although I'm not sure he'll be fire. But well said otherwise. So? Da U was pretty good in the 80's, 90's and early 00's. They are definitely at this point considered a traditional power in CFB. I don't think Richt will be fired, I agree with you there. Agreed. I think he's trying to build the program at Miss St

Giants played a terrific second half, to be honest. The first half was a little iffy. But they really got to Garrard in the second half. Huge win.

Amar'e Says He Was Never Taught Defense
JYD replied to The Lone Granger's topic in New York Knicks Team Forum
He puts in effort. Defense is about 90% effort. But there's certainly 10% of technique that can make you a better defender. -
A lot of runs to the right and a lot of passes to Manningham/Boss. In a must win...not feeling to confident.

Why can't they give him more? How do we know that? And it's not like we're talking UCF or Florida International here. It's Miami. It's "DA U." They have a rich history. They could easily go back to being the best team in Florida and the best team in the country. Lets not act like it's the most difficult job in the world to sell recruits on Miami...c'mon dude. What is with the entire afford issue? Miami is really that broke? And Gruden in Miami would definitely be interesting. Terrific article on Shannon's firing. http://espn.go.com/blog/ACC/post/_/id/19181/firing-of-randy-shannon-was-inevitable

NFL Player Comparison: Aaron Rodgers vs. Matt Ryan
JYD replied to The Lone Granger's topic in NFL Football
Agreed. He's just outside the top 10, while Rodgers is clearly in it. I'd take Rodgers. -
Yes...precisely. Those guys are not good. Lol.

Mark Cuban tried to recruit LeBron James
JYD replied to magicbalala245's topic in Dallas Mavericks Team Forum
He should've listened. I think it would've been a better fit then Miami. -
explosive? griffin. but who really cares when amar'e is clearly the better player......
-
If they offer him enough $ these people will go anywhere. Shannon seemed to get great recruiting classes every year at Da U...and did nothing with them. He had plenty of time to make the team a winner and 28-22 with that amount of talent is just unacceptable...I'm sorry.
-
Man. I used to be a huge LeBron fan to be honest. I still liked him after he signed with Miami (one of the few NYK fans who did....) But lately, I've really been turned off by him.

Amar'e Says He Was Never Taught Defense
JYD replied to The Lone Granger's topic in New York Knicks Team Forum
No...he was probably always teh biggest/most athletic. you don't need to be taught defense when you're 6 inches bigger, stronger, and way more athletic then the kid coming to the hoop. read my above post. when you're that good / big growing up, you don't need to be taught defense. they probably worked on his offensive skills far more. Lol. No. Did you ever play basketball? You don't just know how to play man-to-man defense lmfao. Exactly. -
lol

the 3rd is cool i like the bear theme haha
-
It's no different then the version I previously had. And yeah the base in my audi sounds good with monster cheaaaaa
-
It's like 2% of the people that use these programs are actually cheating the system and don't really need it in some way shape or form.
-
you'z always been so good. just put layerz upon layerz and calls it a day!

I think '96. Pretty close though.

NYK Edition: What we've learned in the first ten games
JYD replied to JYD's topic in New York Knicks Team Forum
^That's very true RD. It looks like the Knicks may have drawn some motivation based on my thread/comments. Five game win streak!!
