  1. I didn't make it a "bold" point because he's been obvious thus far. Lol. But I did mention him in my last paragraph if you read that. He has been very impressive.
  2. So the season is about 10 or so games in, maybe a few more. Feel free Knick fans to chime in with what you've learned about this team so far. I don't want this to be exclusively about my opinions...I want to hear from the rest of ya'll. I've watched most of the games, not all, and not every minute of each by any means, but here's some glaring things that have jumped out at me: Amar'e Stoudemire is GOOD, but he is not GREAT. Amar'e is constantly forcing shots, and he's already been called for many charges because of this. He misses a lot of shots near the rim, a lot more then a big man with his size/athleticism should, and his jumper hasn't been impressive so far. It's clear he misses Nash. He's provided more on the defensive end then I thought he would...but with that said, he's provided less on the boards then I thought he would. Danilo Gallinari has been a bust. This guy doesn't play a lick of defense...he's a [expletive] on the court, plays with virtually no enthuisam so far, and he's an overrated shooter. I laughed when he was compared to Dirk a few years back. And I am still laughing. What is so great about this guys game that anyone likes? He's not good defensively, he's slow, and he can't guard anyone. So he can make an occasional three pointer? Who cares. Landry Fields is a star in the making. I love this guys game. A lone bright spot, but for sure Landry has impressed me thus far. He seems to have a constant motor, always grabbing lose balls and rebounds. He can leap out of the building, and he just has a lot of intangibles you can't teach. The Knicks won't win more then 35 games with the current roster. 35 games is the most I see this roster winning, as predicted at the beginning of the year...and at this point that might be a stretch. The lack of outside shooting is disappointing, and because of that Stoudemire is struggling. But anyway, the Knicks really need another star (CARMELO!) to get over that 35 win mark. All they are at their best is mediocre. It's quite disappointing...for the 10th year in a row. Obviously...just the first ten games, and there has been a few bright spots like Fields, Chandler, a SLIGHT (but not really) improved defense...but overall this team just continually disappoints. So what are your thoughts on the season in the first ten games?
  3. I agree with much of what you said. But at the end of the day Distant Relatives has not been as influential as you claim it is. I hope it is in the future, but that has yet to be seen. It wasn't a flop either, somewhere in between. It was good - but that album was simply NOT great. I enjoyed it, it had a lot of great messages, but I do not think Nas is a top 5 MC this year only. A great sleeper in this discussion is Lloyd Banks...his album just leaked, and I'm listening to it as I type, lol...It's pretty good so far. He's the only one in G-Unit with any talent, so he's close to a top 5 MC of this year too.
  4. If I had to take someone off my list to put Eminem in there, it'd be Fab. But TINC2 > MM4. I found MM4 boring as [expletive] tbh. Eminem's Recovery could be argued as the album of the year; and I'm not even a big Em fan. No one really cared or has talked about Distant Relatives in a while. I actually bought Distant Relatives and although I enjoyed it, calling it revolutionary is quite a stretch.
  5. lol yeah iphones are bad with that [expletive]...this girl i text reguarly sends some weird texts cuz shes got an iphone
  6. No way Nas is the 2nd best MC just this year. Eminem has been better then him. I forgot Em in my list, he's got to be in the top 5 because Recovery is a top 3 hip hop album of the year.
  7. 1. Kanye West 2. Drake 3. J.Cole 4. Wiz Khalifa 5. Fabolous It's tough to narrow it to just five, but those how I would say of the best five artists JUST this year.
  8. He's talented as hell. He's one of the few artists with that bland, underground feel that I can listen to.
  9. lol....it's on pretty much any hip hop site...it's not an album, it's a mixtape...which means its free.
  10. Moss was horrible, I liked the Cruz kid though. And those O-line injuries really hurt us yesterday. Will Beatty didn't report eligible like 5 times. Boothe had that huge holding call... I'm not concerned at the WR position because Smith should be back in a week or two.
  11. It's not really a race issue. T.O. is a moron. Brady's teammates love him, he has credibility with 3 SB rings. Plus it's completely different as the Quarterback.
  12. Wow, he is out of shape and doesn't even know the plays...and he gets rewarded for this!
  13. This roster is pretty bad. Sure it's better then last year but this team won't win more then 35 games.
  14. SMH at today. exactly what i was talkin about fellas
  15. I was disappointed that about 5 of the tracks were already heard prior to this tape coming out, but I'm still happy to get 13 or 14 new songs.
  16. in the morning was a hot track, so smooth.. it's probably mixtape of the year. but tinc2 and k and oj are the other nominees. i don't...
  17. yeah but it's bush. he doesn't get the same fair treatment but seriously, a guy who had under his watch: 2 failed wars 9/11 unfortunate events financial meltdown trillion dollar deficit Is pointing to the Kanye West incident as the worst time in his Presidency.
  18. I think the fear of failure. Once it happens, it's over, you move on. But to fear it...you continually have it on your mind. Ya feel me dawg?

    Well Done -Tyga

it's alright. it's pretty solid but tyga isn't that great imo..
